Hey hey y'all! Today I'm sharing a homeschool day in the life as we are back to our homeschool routine. I'm also working on storing dried goldenrod and making natural medicine!
My name is Tiffany and this is Our Small Town Life. I am a homemaking, homeschooling, homesteading mama to five children. We finally did it! We made the decision to pull our girls from public school and homeschool starting next week (mama needs a few days to get things together lol!) 🎉 I am so so so excited and nervous at the same time! I have felt so convicted and after an incident last week at school we knew this is what we need to do! I know I have commented so much about homeschooling on your channel (I’ll stop spamming you now haha) but you along with many other homeschooling content creators who share our values in the Lord have given me so much hope! Y’all make it look so easy lol I am excited to go on this new adventure with the Lord! Thank you again for your encouraging words and prayers!

We decided when our daughter was born we’d homeschool but as it got closer the more nervous we got. BEST decision we’ve made. My husband is a truck driver so he never had a set schedule. Our daughter loves outdoors and animals and we are able to teach her values will she explores everything she’s into. I promise y’all it’s so worth it, everyone has “rough” days but trust in the lord and he will see y’all through❤ wishing the best 😊

Quick question I have been praying really hard on weather to homeschool my youngest and have no idea where to start and my question is do have to turn everything into someone at the end of the year and also do you have to take your child to be tested in the year? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
It really depends on your state. Each state had their own laws and regulations. Here in Alabama we have very few regulations. There's no set amount of days we have to complete, no subjects we are required to teach, no testing required, no one we have to meet with. Homeschooling here is wonderful! Homeschooling in general in wonderful and worth it 100%. If it's something you decide to do I will be more than happy to help you any way I can!
