If you still have the receipt of your old blender or a copy of your card statement if you paid with a card, you certainly can take the blender back to Argos for a refund as long as you are still within your 12months warranty. Pack the blender back into its box, when you get there, just say to them that the blender simply stopped working while in use and to date you haven’t been able to get it to work. You need not explain what you were grinding before it packed up. Their customer service will attend to you right there and asked if you want an exchange or refund, opt for a refund and you will immediately get your money back. You can take it to any Argos store/Argos in Sainsbury’s. Give it a go, I believe the refund will come handy to you for other stuff you might need.
