I have a replica piece in damier ebene its 6 ring key clay that looks really good after 4 years canvas look perfect and I also have a authentic mini pouchette that after 6 months of sitting in my purse the corners began to fade turned black sent pics to my sales associate he sent them for review they said that it was just normal wear and tear . After a Year that piece is fading everywhere and the chain is fading also after having it 3 year and it looks worse then any fake piece. So now I prefer my small leather good to be *esluxy* because I’ll never purchased a small leather good from Louis Vuitton again and pay that much for them to tell you that it’s just regular wear and tear.

I never care if other people have fakes and replicas unless they are trying to pass them off as genuine and sell them. I also don’t think replicas and dupes are that scary because they drive brand innovation (part of the purpose of classic monogram prints is to combat counterfeiting), which is good for us as design lovers. I think it's a bit outrageous for people to be walking around a big city with a $10,000+ designer bag on their arm, you might as well hold up a "please rob me" sign. Hmm I think it's good for people who want a taste of designer that can't afford the designer prices. LV, Gucci etc aren't gonna be short of a penny & it's not like they're missing out in the way that it's snatching custom as the people buying those products if taken away aren't necessarily gonna go buy the designer ones.
