    Good reviews as always BUT I personally absolutely do not want fast charge only because the damage it does to your battery overtime is VERY significant especially if it’s your daily. I’ve had a bamboo GTR for years and the battery is still kickin. I’ve had to replace the battery on another board with quick charging TWICE and it was about 1.5 times the price of evolve at the time

    Hey there!
    Pretty neat video. I'm riding a Carbon GTR 1 and I'm SO DUCKING DESPERATE for a fastcharger. On the other hand, the longivity is more extended with so, let us call it, slowcharger. But I feel you so so so much!

    Awesome video! I bought a series 2 and now after a thousand miles now I am wishing I would have gotten the Hadean. Mostly for longer rides and power on hills. Guess ill have to get one at some point, can never have to many boards right. Keep the good work glad your back at it.

    Charging any battery in an hours will wreck it over time, so I‘m glad they stick to regular chargers. Also there is no scenario I can think of where NEED a charge.

    • @LORFCASTER
      @LORFCASTER Год назад

      3.5 - 4 hours is a slow charger. No noticable heat is generated within the cells. Ive read that a charge time of over 1 hour is seen as safe from damage. This was an old article addressing 18650's though. So, If a 5amp charger gives us 3.5 - 4 H full charge time with no noticeable heat generated within the cells, then i belive we could safely use atleast a 6 - 8 amp charger, or maybe even a 10amp.
      Maybe i dont understand or am unaware of specifics of the 21700 cells evolve uses.
      Anyways; i belive we could easily / safely be given some kind of upgraded charger. The top of the line brand could offer a top of the line charger. Something adjustable with info given ( Charge % selection, amp selection, voltage or charge level readout )... they exist.
      Please evolve :o

      @@LORFCASTER hahah funny story - just after this comment, I got hit by a car and the board got wrecked. So I upgraded to the Hadean and it's 1000x better. I know the electronics are almost the same, bar firmware and the battery isn't that different but the range is honestly about 2x better on the Hadean. Top speed doesn't matter that much to me - I'm over 40 and a woman, falling off hurts bad, every time, so I stick to sub 30kmph most of the time but the Hadean is absolutely worth the extra cash, if you're sticking to Evolve.

    Scuffed mic but great video as always!
    I finally ordered my Carbon Hadean!! Suuuper excited. I test drove the Carbon Hadean in the summer on street setup and it was FUCKING MENTAL.. that acceleration is like twice as fast as the old GTR.. atleast.. and the GTR already had pretty nice acceleration.. I get why people hate it.. too expensive!! 2500EUR jesus christ.. vs Hurricane what.. 1000EUR? And yes Hurricane is "faster" but who the hell rides a skateboard 24\7 at 60-80kmh.. almost nobody, specially not on street wheels. On the AT wheels yes you aint pushing a lot more then 50kmh but my god that is fast enough for 99% out there.
    But then there is the new Phaze remote, bigger motors that dont overheat, bigger battery etc.. list goes on.
    My main reason for the upgrade though was because I went through atleast 6 motor failures for the GTR. I hated the downtime.. 2-4weeks each time, ridiculous.
    Then each start of the season, the Bamboo deck broke in half. Maybe some storage issue? Stored it in my flat but it was wierd cause Ive had a Meepo board since 2015-16 and it never had deck issues. 250EUR each time to replace a deck with the second time no deck in stock for 6 months so had to modify a used GT deck for time being. The bamboo felt great though.. but yeah this is the reason for my upgrade and also the Bamboo Hadean looks god awful and it seems it flexes even more then the old GTR.. and im 220lbs 95KG rider, street setup all day long, ride almost every day.

      @@LORFCASTER Oh boy, its a long story, im gonna make a quick review style video. But I ordered in January, got it in April, Hadean exploded in 3 days (3hours), sent back to Evolve, waited 2 months for repair, ECU exploded not motors. They sent it back with broken drivegears, changed them myself and all good now, just got to 250KM on it, zero issues, its an absolute blast. Also because its Carbon I can easily hit 45-50km\h, with GTR Bamboo it was a bit too scary going over 35km\h. Also range is almost doubled.. did a 30KM run.. had 30% battery left.. 97KG rider. Other things.. love the wider deck, love the whistling sound it makes when riding and its actually super comfortable to ride vs my old GTR Bamboo, really happy about the Carbon Hadean overall.

      @@teaguemendola789 Seems like a brutally unsafe vehicle to have both directional physics AND acceleration / braking both controlled by body positioning / center of balance. As an electric board rider, you can have your body weight / position abruptly changed by terrain or objects and still maintain constant control of acceleration / brakes. CANT do that on vehicles relying on center of balance sensors for all controls. Also, If your vehicle has an electronics failure then thats a brutal crash no matter what. If our vehicle has an electronic failure then it will probably just turn into a normal skateboard with a bit of extra drag. Your vehicle is inferior :p
