Magic, the solution to most of lifes problems. Me: Oh trust me there are some things that magic shouldn't do due to ethical reasons. Like meddling with the forces of life and death. Cause that would involve the dark side of magic which is strictly forbidden. There are also some more questionable spells out there that border the line between ethical and unethical. Like the alteration spell transmute. Which allows you to turn any base metal into precious metals. This one is questionable at best because yes it can overinflate the economy there are other uses for it. Like transmuting gold to mint more coins. Since gold is a very rare material it would be easier just to transmute it and then do the minting process. But only those who have a transmuting license can use this spell. Whether it be for business with jewlery or government officials minting money. But yeah there are many other types of magic that are morally questionable at best but necromancy should be forbidden due to how unethical it is to mess with the forces of life and death. Your pretty much playing God at that point.
