    Wow ... impressive tenacity and collaboration between Alberta RCMP, CPS and other entities. Imagine ... 50 years! No doubt, all parties involved and/or impacted, can breathe a sigh of relief. Kudos to all who contributed (past and current) towards solving these (and perhaps more) unsolved cases.

    So the magnatory breath test is so they can get D.N.A from everyone.?.It has nothing to do with impairment..

      If you don't commit any crimes, you don't need to worry if they have your DNA.

    I wonder if they checked into the Melissa Letaine case. That one has stuck with me my whole life. I worked in a salon in the mall at the same time and usually took the same path, partially, home.

    Well isn't that convenient no wonder breathe tests have become mandatory in Alberta... Incompetence runs rampant throughout the Canadian police forces, they can't even figure out reasonable suspicion anymore and had to make it mandatory.
