I've heard people express confusion over "Heaven's Door" as a choice for Rohan's stand because they're not sure how the song relates to his character. Being the hopeless Rohan fangirl I am, I remember Rohan talking about how he got his Stand when he was at the lowest point in his manga writing career (correct me if I'm wrong) , constantly stressed and anxious about his work, Rohan was ready to give up as he felt completely powerless. To me, this fits so well with Knocking On Heaven's Door, a song about feeling completely powerless and wanting to give up (having no control ect) . The stand itself is a brilliant contrast to those feelings in that it gives you almost complete control and power.
Strangely by part 5 and part 6 Araki also had one of the possibly worst times in his career.
Anyway damn Rohan is such a well written character.

@@ringo1017 yeah, that's exactly it! Omg, it fits so well with his character, and this song. Rohan once thought he had power. But he didn't and fell into anxiety and depression. Then he got struck by the arrow and got the ability to read people like books, but more importantly, see their insecurities and anxieties and then show them that they have no power as well. Rohan meshed into having this ability so well with these lyrics.
What if Rohan first stand was The Doors, to become after his depression Heavens door

Heaven's Door is a really ironic name for a Stand since the song is about feeling like you have no control while the Stand gives the user almost COMPLETE control.
The song describes the feeling of those under the effects of Heaven's Door
Well, rohan awaken the stand when he was feeling complete powerless. It was in the lowest part of his manga writer carrer
In this case, the ones who are not in control are the people that are under Heaven's Door's effects
Thinking about the lyrics I feel like this could easily have been Moody Blues's stand name

Somebody here asked why everybody uses the Guns n' Roses cover of "Knockin' on Heaven's Door" as the specific reference instead of the Bob Dylan original from 1973. I think I just figured out why.
It all loops back to Axel from Guns n' Roses: to an extent, Rohan might have been inspired by Axel. Between the headband and his notorious ego, it's likely that that's where Rohan gets a big part of his character.
