I enrolled back into college this year and on track to apply to medical school. You gave me the motivation to go back and try again. So many people are attached to your resilience like me. Hi Dr. B! My name is Delaney, and I’m a first year MD-PhD student at UF! I began watching your videos before my UF interviews this past cycle and continued after my acceptance up through orientation. In every video I watched, I felt such a connection to you, and your experiences and reflections helped inspire me to ultimately attend UF. Flashing forward to the present, we actually just had our first final exam (genetics) and kicked off our first golden weekend. It’s surreal to be at this point, and I’m actually experiencing so many of the same feelings you shared in your videos. I know I wouldn’t have made it to this point without you.
