    I've work with this 125 engine for couple of years before, i guarantee, the first one to fail is the cam chain tensioner assembly, it fail regularly, even it's stock
    I've done dozens of bikes, same problem (wave 125/110, same tensioner style)
    So be careful when upgraded the camshaft and harder springs (raised rpm limit also), mine was exploded 2 times, luckily, nothing hurts
    I modify it to manual, so far so good, you can watch in my channel
    Or try buy from thailand/malaysia, the aftermaket one has different materials, more durable, but i think the tensioner will give up first 🤷🏻

      My NBC110 blew up thanks to this issue.
      Is it possible to get a better quality/more durable cam chain tensioner assembly?

      @@TheGreatOldOak my better guess is to keep the oil level enough, because they are hydraulic lifters
      But to really bulletproof, need to modify

    2:10 Jaysus, that can of cleaner is definitely at least $6 and you're using it like a garden hose. I'm triggered.

      Cheaper than a rogue fragment causing a rebuild!

    Hello, what are the exact specifications of the cam shaft?

      Hello, I can't be sure. It came in a kit from Hispeed Thailand. They have lots of parts on their website.

    Why go to all that effort and expense for a lousy 18cc more?? Whattya get, ONE more hp?

    • @SmallBikeStuff
      @SmallBikeStuff  10 месяцев назад +2

      Doubled HP almost. Did it because I wanted too and it was good fun.

      @@SmallBikeStuff Thats a good reason. But how did 18cc double the power?

    • @SmallBikeStuff
      @SmallBikeStuff  8 месяцев назад +1

      @@JeffKopis only just saw this now. Basically thanks to the huge amount of flow provided thanks to the head. The big bore kit on its own won’t have done a huge amount - probably just increased acceleration slightly. But having much larger valves in the head with a high lift cam allows the whole package to breathe well and more flow is more power. The stock injector was using about 20% of its capacity and with the current tune it’s increased to around 95%.
