Here's the Arabic original and an English translation of the tablet for anyone interested.
A Truth without doubt, wholly sound, that the highest is from the lowest and the lowest is from the highest.
The working of wonders is from the one, just as all things came from the one, by a single governance
Its father is the Sun and its mother is the Moon. The wind carries it in her belly. The earth nourishes it
Father of talismans, treasure-house of wonders, perfection of powers
Fire became Earth. Separate the Earth from the Fire. The subtler is nobler than the gross
With skilled work and restraint it will ascend from the Earth to Heaven and descend to Earth from Heaven.
And within itself is the power of the highest and of the lowest, within it is the light of lights, therefore darkness flees from it.
Power of powers. It can conquer every subtle thing, and penetrate everything gross.
Following the creation of the Macrocosm, the Work is completed. This is my glory, and for that was Hermes named Thrice with Wisdom.
from Kitab Sirr al-Khalıqah by pseudo-Apollonius of Tyana

While hearing it in Arabic, (my first time, thank you for doing that) I was transported to a desert campfire. I was sitting in a circle of people wearing robes and head scarves. As the light of the fire shone on their faces, an elder man was standing up and reciting these verses. Witnessing the scene, I knew the verses had been recited for generations prior and pass down in this same way, next to the fire. Everyone was familiar with the verses as it was part of their daily life.
Very cool that you talked about water, because when the verse was read in English my first thought was that it was talking about water.

Very special😊 the beautiful arabic text has taken me for some reason to the Gospel of St John - chapter 1! Not sure how and why, but I felt the connection there. “In the beginning was the word”

[Mushtaq] That is a very interesting observation, and I suspect that there is a connection somehow. Have you seen the talk we did on John 1?

A few thoughts on posting comments:
First, we moderate all comments, so if your comment doesn't appear immediately, don't fret -we just haven't read it yet. There are only two of us, and we both have other duties we must attend to, so it's not personal. If you find you are having trouble waiting, you can repeat the words "Ya Sabur" 101 times. It will help.
If you write a comment and neither of us can understand what you are saying after reading it three times over, it won't get posted.
All posts must be in English. We are fine with it if your English is not as good as you'd like. We'll do our best to work with you toward mutual understanding. But we need a Lingua Franca and English is it.
We do not permit ad hominem posts. If you are unsure what this means, a quick Google search will illuminate you. Your comment will be deleted with prejudice.
We are not interested in political comments. They won't get published.
If you make an off-topic comment, it had best be amusing or illuminating.
If you are making a comment in hopes of driving traffic to your channel, you ain't gonna get posted. You are, however, welcome to contact us by email and ask us to plug you. We'll look over your channel, and if we like it, we will point people to you. If you really impress us, we will invite you to be a guest and interview you.
If you just have something to sell, go away.

Beautiful translation, masterful wisdom! Thank you for this history and teaching. It is amazing how much disinformation is out there regarding the Emerald Tablet (hours and hours of lectures and discussions) and this is the first I have ever heard of the Arabic connection. I am really beginning to have a lot of doubts about western "occultism". It is like folks are just making it up for a quick buck. The only folks I think that are even close on what was read tonight are the Order of the Rose Cross. I think they might have been working from an Arabic original copy as the reading reminded me of some of the material I see in their teachings. Love these alchemy chats as it allows me to cross check my own research for veracity.

I’m still wishing for it to be said in a way that has practical use

It only has practical use if you learn to read it correctly, so the practicality has to do with the reader.

It’s true that the last 2 tablets are kept under lock and key? Where can one search Egypt or the Vatican ?

I’m going to guess you should hear it in the Arabic because it was the first translation before it hit Greek. Just my guess ….so we’re getting closer to source.

Being that it is the oldest expression of the document we have, yes. It is perhaps even more interesting when heard in Persian. We can speculate as to what it means, but no more than that, sad to say.
