I love to see xDefiant getting big streamers onto it. COD has been rubbish for years, and now that we finally got a realistic competitor that does almost everything we have been wanting, we need it to succeed.
I really hope this game survives because it is genuinely good. No it’s not perfect and yes it needs work as any knew game would. But it has developers that listen to the community. Above anything else the most important reason why this game needs to survive is because it is one of the few competitors to COD. Cod has an unfair monopoly over the fps genre which leads to the fans ultimately being the ones who pay the price as there are ridiculous amount of micro transactions within games and additionally they get away with release low grade games for $70+ take MW2 and 3 for example. Abusing the success of the earlier games, and riding on the back of nostalgia. WHAT MATTERS IS XDEFIANT NEEDS TO STAY ALIVE BECAUSE IF COD HAS A COMPETITOR THEY ARE FORCED TO PRODUCE BETTER PRODUCTS! Also the games good and it’s free give it a try, why not?

Aim assist is a bit annoying coming from a pc player but someone like minter it’s good for. When I run into some cracked out player that is already really good and has aim assist it feels like I have less of a chance, towards the end of the night when I’m tired or smoked too much my aim just goes everywhere because I don’t have aim assist to help lol, the downside of keyboard mouse you have to keep being consistent but there are positives too.

don’t use linear simonnnnn unless you’re on key and mouse. Controller use reverse s-curve for aim assist type. Put ADS to .85

I 100% agree but I guess they need some sort of way to make it not a carbon copy of cod.
The abilities are literally one of the selling points and a way to add another layer to the gameplay. They make the game so much more fun
