So many things about this drama made me so emotional. It is just so real and cultural. I have never seen a hum tv or ARY drama with a wedding scene where women are constantly making tea, distributing left over rice, washing dishes side by side, a man marrying a woman with no common language. These things are just so true to my culture.
Sabina Farooq has nailed it while portraying a woman's thoughts and her position as a partner in a relationship. You guys MUST appreciate her expressions. Kabuli Pulao is a MASTER PIECE. I m watching it from 🇩🇪 and i teach "social construction of reality" at german university. I have taken this drama as a topic of discussion into my seminar room. You guys have no idea what impact this drama is catering to social scientists. It has already mesmerised me and my German students. Pakistan MUST produce such artwork. All the best to Kabuli Pulao.

21:26 is when barbeena keeps telling her story in pushto and there's no translation for the long time. That scene is genius. It's not necessary to understand the language when one can understand the pain in words. This drama is a masterpiece. Love each and every detail ❤

Sabeena farooq is the most underrated actress. She deserves the best scripts. I loved how well she spoke this language. The character is so well written. I am watching this episode again. I’ve never ever felt in love with any drama like this. The script is so unique. And yes. Ehtishamuddin sir also nailed it. I’m glad they have chosen him for this.

As a pasthun I can confirm that the accent of Sabeena in this role is right on point! She has outperformed herself for this role!
Are you sure her Pushto accent is okay? I think her overall Pushto accent needs lot more practice. Her character is if Afghan girl. Her Pushto script and even accent is no way Afghani! Play team should work on this for the coming episodes, if possible.

Plus she says she is from Mazar e Shareef. Mazar is not pashtun area, also her Pushto accent is pure KPK not aghani. Jalalabad would have been a better place for this role.

Sabeena Farooque has done a great job as Barbina. She has proved that she is a wonderful actress who can take up a role as negative as Haya in Tere Bin making the viewers hate her so much and now doing the role of Barbeena she is making viewers love her! As lot of us don't know pashtun and can't read urdu please it's a humble request to put titles in English so that we can understand Barbina even better. From Haya to Barbina i am fan of her choices. And it's so good to see everyone praising her instead of trolling which she got from playing HAYA's character in tere bin. I saw her interview on BBC urdu where is she mentioned about the trolling i just wish she would come here and read all those positive comments about her.

After this episode, I can't imagine anyone else in Barbeena's character other than Sabeena. The first episode was all about Haji Mushtaq and how they met and this episode was all about Barbeena in a Pakistani household. Ehteshamuddin Sir is a veteran actor so I was sure that he will be just perfect in this but after this episode, I am blown away after seeing Sabeena's amazing performance. She carried the episode on her shoulders throughout the episode. She just nailed it!!!!🎉🎉🎉
