Hello Everybody!!! This was a national program that was broadcasted in 1964. The accompanists for this concert were Sri Lalgudi G. Jayaraman, Sri Umyalpuram K. Sivaraman and Sri V. Nagarajan.

Those rasikas who were physically present in GNB's concert were blessed indeed.
Wish one had been blessed by his darshan in one's lifetime. Tragically the maestro died so young!!! He will always be my Guru! Such a towering manifestation of schol as rship par excellence. Simply divine music coming alive!

each kriti is a masterpiece. Such is the rendering of these stalwarts! Their music will live for ever!
Its indeed Shri Umayalpuram Sivaraman on the Mrudangam. The tonal clarity and the arai chaapu even on the kappi vaadhyam bear his unmistakable stamp. The short thani in the end confirms it. Absolutely magnificent!!!

The very name GNB who revolutionised Carnatic music by speedy rendering of Ragalapanas,songs and kalpanaswaras created an infectious joy in the lesteners.I was privileged to attend his concerts during his life time.

We miss such deep and dynamic cutcheri.The vocalist, the violinist)Lalgudi)and mridangamist(Palani Subbudu)are outstanding.
This is fantastic concert with the accompanying artists being Lalgudi Jayaraman , Umayalpuram Sivaraman and V Nagarajan. The pictorial description of this concert is incorrect. My father had this concert on tape with the announcement.

I am a direct disciple of Shri Palani.Both the tonal quality & playing style in this concert are NOT of Palani's..And I am teaching a number of disciples in PURE Palani style.In RUclips one would find at least four of them:Dr.K Ashok,L.Subramanian,Akshay Anand,Sumedh Ramakrishna & youngsters Rohit & Ajit..
