I have done a few videos on how to fit watch glasses as there are several different types. This time we have a Heuer quartz divers watch with a 3mm thick mineral glass. This video shows my method of removing the old glass and fitting the new one along with a new glass gasket.

I have a 980.004 as well, very underrated model , pretty rare in fact, not very valuable though , pd $500 on ebay a few years back, simple design quite pleasing to the eye, very legible as well, contemporary size at abt 40 mm , was released under multiple brands , Sinn, Bel-Air , Guildcrest even Elgin with slight cosmetic differences , bezel design , bracelet design etc. These 980.004 s are strap hogs though and look great on lea or period correct rubber even tropics, hooded lugs allow for a clean integrated gap free look.

Great demonstration on fitting divers watch. Hope to see a video of how to remove bezels and not break the springs inside and how to assemble them again. Thank you.

This is my new favorite channel, thank you again for posting these videos. Could you tell me what model and year that particular Heuer is? I really like it.

It's nice to see things actually be better after a well done repair ... so far I have ruined two perfectly good watches just by attempting to change the batteries, LOL.
