Great video Techy, couldn't have put it better myself! Until the Roblox Jojo Community themselves demand better for themselves, or give other games a chance, the genre will unfortunately continue to wither out and die. Other games can't exactly flourish if they don't have the funding, and by proxy players to do so after all.

N probably died due to unbalancing. As an N OG, N had such a low-skill ceiling. It's so easy to perform possible one-shot combos, it’s also generally a stun simulator. N also died due to the lack of changes. They kept adding stands instead of changing the map, more content, etc. I’m glad N died to save my sanity from those vampire mains that stun you for 10282910292 years straight. W video!
@MojangNailedit I’ve played it recently and stands like king crimson, crazy diamond, the world, star platinum, and white snake ALL have true one shot combos that you CANNOT escape. Other specs like vampire and bohemian rhapsody also have the same issue. The game is HEAVILY unbalanced like you mention and it’s a stun simulator like you mentioned as well. Not too long ago, i met someone with damage hacks or something and they did more damage than they should of using the hand. I also saw someone using fly hacks and vampire too.
The Golden Age of Jojo games will forever be in my heart as I got to meet so many great people in that era and really got to see the ups and downs of communities with no tinted lenses
My opinion I think they falling is because there isn’t really anything new developers can do that hasn’t already been seen in another game because jojo has a very complicated power system in terms of how abilities look and what they do. In short it’s very limited to how much the developer can imagine what their game has that others dont

What we need is something FUN and UNIQUE like idc about how the game looks as long as it’s fun I’m going to play it. My personal favorite was project jojo that introduced stand fusion,traits,stand levels. It was so ahead of its time and I’d play prime project jojo any day over any other new jojo game. Another thing people need to start doing is just adding more stands, like there’s so many stands in jojo with crazy cool abilities but every game just has the same exact few stands, it’s like people didn’t even watch the show and just looked up the MC’s and put their abilities in.
PJJ was the best one as for me, and will forever be. The unbalance was the most fun thing to play around with. If you thought your fusion was the peak of broken, there always was a more broken one.
I’ve been playing yba since like 2019/2020ish and I really hope uzu starts being honest to his community and gives updates more often, it has so much potential it being the most popular jojo game and having the best combat (imo) such a shame to see the game go out like this

Best jojo game in my opinion is the Old Stand Upright, the only jojo game which i had fun and liked (i like yba a bit too but its nothing compared to stand upright) but when it was shut down, it left my heart broken, i still miss it
If someone ever steps up to make a new JoJo game, I can only hope they make a "sequel" to PJJ. The modern day games tend to just ignore the non-anime parts for the exception of Tusk, WOU, D4C, Spin, Scary Monsters and S&W, while PJJ went as deep as crap like Mandom and Speed King. My personal favourite combat system as of now is AUT's, maybe a combo of that and half stun (Type Soul and Rouge Lineage's stun style, it's pretty cool).
Aut really started to go downhill after the combat rework imo. The devs really started to adopt a “money first” mindset around this time. Limited skins, Clever Curse/Sponsored section, long grinds to pad out for premium payouts, etc. The devs would frequently talk to the community (which I enjoyed alot) and pitch ideas for obtainment methods or abilities. Most of which being “jokes” about how say Kratos will be a 2 week grind. Most of us will pass it off as a haha funny, then they actually do it. When Nub shifted the games focus to PvE, he completely broke the “meta” if you can call it. Allocating like 100 skill points to do a decently better combo was fine. But when he released 500 lvl cap, Dawn rework, and awakened Umbra all at once, it ruined everything. He and most devs stayed adamant that the community will have to suck it up. We’re lucky Boojie tried to do SOME damage control at all. The Asgore update was seen as the worst update ever, but honestly it was just a warning for what was to come with the Dawn rework. The Asgore obtainment honestly wasnt the worst thing ever, reducing the spawn time to 30 minutes was all it needed. People were just mad with both the spawn time and doing the boss in a public server.
There's worse issues than that, though. Because of the added Ascension mechanic and the addition of health potions to their ucoin shop, there have been instances where people have been using absolutely impossible specs in tandem with spamming health potions to drag pvp out for an eternity. (The impossible specs being Dawn and Umbra mostly.) The potions only cost like 10k ucoins, which is dirt cheap for alot of sweaty players, and heal like a third of your health bar no matter what you're using. You can fill your entire inventory with them. I had to fight an Umbra with max ascensions with more than 4 people at one point and they literally couldn't go down no matter what we tried. There are also alot of stands that aren't optimized, one such stand being Locke, who can literally land a full stunlock ToD on you by only using 4 moves into M1 chains over and over. One inherently major problem in AUT are the very apparent influx of exploiters. We have people who are outright lagswitching in combat now, which is an exploit that is insanely difficult to report when you acknowledge AUT's next insanely prevalent issue; ABSURD server optimization. I will not specify which, but I live in a state very close to Texas. So, I should connect to a Texas server, right? Of course, using any other location would make the ping atrocious. So, I connect to a Texas server and--why is my ping 200 or 300m/s? This makes the game unplayable and I have complained about this plenty of times before. The final nail in the coffin for me wasn't any of the given above, but hilariously, it was because they made the daily quests singlehandedly THE MOST TEDIOUS THING EVER. No, I don't want to grind 15 level 80+ thugs and then defeat 3 bosses that probably are not there. Bosses respawn every hour? Oh brother. I bet another gaggle of players have already ran through this server and nabbed the bosses for their dailies, it explains the sudden 3/16 player count in the lobby. If not because the game is dying already anyways. I'd mention toxicity but, you know, is that not accounted for in every other roblox game, too? I feel like mentioning the unending heaps of toxicity I encounter in AUT would be like pouring a bottle of water into the ocean at this rate. I have seen sexism, racism, players getting jumped by 3 or more people for winning a fair 1v1 against another player. The usual for roblox, dude. AUT isn't a community I see worth being apart of anymore, even if I made alot of cool memories there. Give Untitled Stand Game a try when it gets a full release. It bangs.

You almost HAVE to pick certain stands/specs to have a chance at winning. And not to mention the HORRENDOUS npc move design. Their grabs are the most fucking annoying things ive ever encountered in a pve game, and the fact that they can stunlock you into an infinite grab chain is so stupid. Or the fact that if you have 3 npcs on you, if a single one lands a hit, half your health will be gone because for some reason they deal absurd amounts of damage such that 3 npcs can just kill you. I could see the signs of aut getting worse when the m1 reworks after the ge reworks started coming out. They were something noone asked for, and it genuinely made the game worse. M1s felt so clunky and awful now, but the thing is that m1s _are an essential part of aut._ Then the combat rework came out and good god did a toddler conceptualise most of this? Knives that can be perfect blocked that stun the user??? A cancelable barrage that takes a good second to come out? Perfect blocking anything other than knives literally leaving no stun on either user, making it a simple damage negater? It being literally impossible to tell if a move was perfect blockable until you tried? Aut 1v1s became a ‘catch me if you can’ simulator, because it just became a game of trying to m1 your opponent first and hoping to god they dont get some bs miracle to appear that saves them like lagging straight outta the combo. And combos! Holy god the combos. They feel _so awful._ i’ll look at dawn to be specific. Old dawn was broken. No question about it. Then the dawn rework before the combat rework came and everyone was like ??? This is dogshit. Which it was. It was NOT fun to play. Dawn, yasuo and yone were VERY obviously their attempts to see what people thought of a heat system. They saw that people liked the abilities (but not the heat systems) and went ‘wow! They must love the heat systems!’ And developed a whole rework around it. Now a heat system wouldn’t be _that_ bad, if YOU KNEW WHAT MOVES REQUIRED HEAT BEFORE YOU PRESS THEM. YOU HAVE TO USE THE MOVE TO FIND OUT. And some stands or specs literally have almost EVERY move requiring heat. Planet shaper is probably an egregious example because of how annoying the heat system is with it. Building up heat with p//s isn’t a fast process, and when you do use your move that can use 100 heat, you HAVE to land it. Or you just wasted your best move. Also, what is WITH p//s’ moves having so much endlag? It’s so uncomfortably long. Anyway. Bit of a rant. Tldr, aut is absolute ass rn and the devs seem to be trying to make the worst decisions possible. Like releasing a combat rework before they had more than 10 stands reworked for it. So people had about 5 stands to use while they waited.
This most recent update has officially sent the quality of the game into oblivion. They took all of our base moves, limited them to a very small selection, and also locked them behind a leveling wall. Its some cheesy card-drawing game now. The update came out on the 28th and I refuse to pay it any more mind than I have. AUT isn't fun anymore and the person responsible for these garbage ideas has GOT to go. @@fishfood8711

With RIU it’s fun not because of how realistic it is but because how easy the grinding is and how fun the PVP and there constantly adding updates and hosting tournaments. ( i was able to get to lvl 100 in about 2 hours and it was like a bandit beater but the quests were easy and short)

I personally think the reason n died was the absurd combos that would delete half of your hp. When the game was newer combos were alot less common and the moves were much simpler.
An issue i see being more common in the community its in the RUclipsrs and New games, they basically use "THE NEXT BEST JOJO GAME YBA KILLER" in every new game, creating megahype just to help kill the new game faster when it drops cause the mega expectations the community create. Like a community we should learn to wait and give proper time to all projects to see if anyone can have good or unique ideas to succeed
I really miss ABD. I remember I used to play it all the time with my friends. When they decided they were going to stop updating it, it made me very sad, and to this day I'm saddened that they've never put in the effort to revive it to the amazing game it once was
dude there was this one jojo game that I absolutely adored I played it so much it was called JoJo's Alternate Universe and it was like you made your own stands and gave them skills and it was the coolest thing ever bro I used to play it so much and it had a pretty large player count but now it can hardly reach 40 players it's so sad bro
The only issue that I kinda have with roblox jojo games is the fact that I'm really not sure what there is for devs to do when it comes to the genre, when it comes to playing your favorite stand from the show, YBA and TCA are already doing that for the most part and I think you can only play the stands from the show so many times before you get tired of it. It's like every The World has a barrage, TS, knives and road rollar. If I'm being honest the only thing I can think of to inflict some life or ideas into the genre is to maybe take a drastic change, maybe have a jojo/stand game where you don't even have any of the stands from the show, instead focusing on new stands created by devs or others. Include a fusion or mix system into it for added customization. This is all I got off the top of my head, but I think it's clear the genre needs a change and it needs more customization to keep people invested.
i know the video is now 8 months old but now roblox is unbreakable got better with the new gw rework update, changing the ui, adding some stuff and making the game more polished and beautiful, so i think it is a great game now, at least better than before
What makes me mad is that a Jojo game called untitled stand game WHICH WAS SOOO HYPE yet they discontinued it. It had amazing graphics, epic cutscene and decently cool mechanics. It was going to be sooo big yet they left it to die closed
MLGs power trips once got so bad the original place got nuked and the game had to be rereleased on a new, entirely different baseplate. 2017 was fuckin wild.
A lot of jojo games suffer from the aba problem where with each update the new stand was broken or garbage and skill spammy which aba does as well which is why the majority of these type of games die
Yea sucks that these issues really sum up the downfall of every roblox anime game rn. Bad updates or updates that take entirely too long that ruin the game in some way
it would be pretty cool if they add some sort of mechanics like choosing alternatuve moves that you unlock. For example instead of a star finger for the x move you ll choose leg sweep star platinium or smt. But of course this comes with balancing moves ,restricting even (in pvp ranked etc). The reason for these alternative moves is bcz stands in general are used in the manga in such precises and creative ways that u can implement them in the game... like the moves are all in the manga and there are so many.
then by choosin your moves you can basically make your own stand build, they can also have a more complex system like the move a 'changes' (becomes a counter with a new animation, name etc) or "evolves" (adds a final blow that sends ppl flying ) if you add the move b in the build. or even smtg like you can include move a in your build if you include move b and c. I feel like the combat would be much better if you have to watch out and learn your ennemy s moves/combos as the fight goes on
RIU is not only close to canon, it has a lot of features, unique content (77 rings trial and trials overall) and some stands which you will not see in other jojo games (CtR, Metallica). Djudjo (the owner and the head developer) really cares about the manga and the anime and so he does with RIU making quality content last updates. The grind for levels was simplified too and is not that hard as it was at release of the game. The only downside of RIU is excess of skins but still there come many content every update. It is disappointment the game is still so underrated and people prefer to play purposely unbalanced YBA than RIU even if pvp there is not that good (but I like that it is simple so you don't get overwhelmed by some oneshot boxing + Scary Monsters combos)

Also A Bizarre World: Rewritten is a pretty cool game had similar combat to ABD but slightly more advanced it was hype at it's time but just died off because the developers stopped updating it
Somebody really needs to come out with a jojo game that doesn't focus on stun simulator combat and balancing but being as accurate to the source material as possible, actually living in the world of jojo instead of just using it's abilities to make a generic fighter would be extremely reinventive and might revive the genre tbh
I say most JoJo games are either ruined or dead Ruined = Adding other features that isn't JoJo related (Gojo, Saitama, Undertales) Dead = Slow / no / bad updates or a busted up stands TBH if a new JoJo game in roblox comes up, we would only expect how long will it lasted

I used to work on a game a few people may remember, called "Unknown Crusade: Rewritten", and I will also give my opinion on the state of JoJo games. Well. First things first, I canceled UC: R. Well, not really. I released and opened UC: R and immediately stopped working on it. Now, I will explain why I canceled UC: R and left this Roblox genre entirely. It's simple, all of the games, including UC: R, lacked a fun and replayable gameplay loop because all they focused on was the visual part of the game.

Something that I think helped is that the Jojo community kinda dwindled over the long wait Stone Ocean, the wait for Jojolion's end, and then the wait for Jojolands to begin.
0:10 damn even a thousand or two players can make you about 100k-200k robux a day idk why “if a game gets below 10k players” it dead. The truth is for example YBAs owner Uzu doesn’t need to update the game and it will still pull in thousands of players and make him a thousand dollars+ a day. Most owners know this and I dont expect a RUclipsr who isnt an experienced developer to notice this, same with Project Slayers, the fact is demon slayer doesn’t have as much connect as other anime’s compared to Naruto or One Piece so the owners of those type of games are playing it long term and waiting till they see a huge dip in players then updating or taking their time to pull out quality updates which everyone enjoys. @@TechyOP_np all games will fall off overtime, it’s just a game cycle and if you were to make a sequel most dont succeed as the original game was unique and new. A game example of this is AFS and the sequel AFSX, people who played the game grinded it and maxed it out didn’t wanna go through all of that again so their audience was quite small but if they rebranded it into a different name and marketed it well, it could’ve survived for much longer rn its averaging around 3-5k ccu

Another problem YBA got is that uzu keeps releasing new abilities that just do NOT fit in with the combat, I.e soft and wet in which they literally just ripped gappy’s moveset from all star battle
I really wanted Project Star to be a better game because the story line and the map was great but the combat and no updates was kinda downfall it had so much potential, such a waste that the devs throw this gem away
Sakura Stands used to be really fun, with somewhat fair obtainment methods and whatnot. But ever since Fate decided to leave for the new devs to replace him it's become actual hell, the farming is unfair and the specs are just unbalanced, nothing makes sense anymore.
If i'm being honest my least favorite part of roblox jojo games is how at some point roblox jojo games just add A. make up their own stands (Without the charm like the way Araki makes stands) or B. use abilities from other anime. I came here for a jojo game, why is there a god damn deku spec. Another thing is that they rather add that then ever touch stands like jumping jack flash or tome of the boom hell you rarely see stands from jojolion that aren't Wou or soft and wet. To me seeing the same stands over and over again and bland unoriginal fan-stands/specs is why jojo games are going down hill.
what the jojo sphere of anime games needs right now is something easy to get into that gets updated frequently. practically every game either has some type of annoying grind to get through in order to play (yba, aut, tca, etc.) or just doesnt get updated frequently (funnily enough, yba and aut are also examples of this, along with games like world of stands). it could be a story based game that turns the grind into actual engaging content, or it could just be a pvp game where u can immediately make any build u want and fight people.
@@dreamslayer7502 1. thats if u no life it, get a stand and spec good for pve quickly, and already have a good understanding of the game, 3 things a new player probably wont get (minus maybe a good stand) 2. u still need to get stands and specs, and if u want to actually experiment with stands and specs its going to take a long time to get what u want, especially if its the over heaven stuff. the game's grind isnt as long as some other games, but i still wouldnt say its good or even decent by any means. its not really all that fun and is just something u want to get through as quickly as possible, a pretty good indicator that it isnt good.

The fact that Sakura Stand stop being a "JoJo game" and became a Jujutsu Kaisen game going with the flow with the JJK season 2 game because of the downfall of Roblox Jojo game
ABD was my first ever jojo game on roblox, and MAN. the golden days were so fun, the grinding wasn't TO bad, and i remember I managed to get a Sans-Crimson, and holy I was SO excited, for once in a game i managed to get something I really wanted, and the trading aspect wasn't as bad as.. some other games.
AUT recently dropped below 1k players the devs ruined their economy by adding unob crates mythic crates and balancing issues especially when they said they weren’t going to be a YBA skin cash grab but they exactly went down that path
Out of all these games, TCA is my favorite. I really don’t play Roblox JoJo games because of the lag, grinding, and the game just being very unbalanced, so when I found TCA, it mostly fixed these things for me, and others too. I really enjoy the game, and hope more people start to play it, and gains more popularity overtime. I feel it has great potential, and more popularity would mean more support to the game, allowing them to really show this potential.
For some reason i still play a bizarre day, mostly for the reason that i find the combat fun even if its the most bare bones, and also for the nostalgia and people still play on time to time and dare i say it, feels like a tight and close community for some reason, i’ve played yba and pjj in their prime as well, and it genuinely saddens me seeing the state of these once good games
Stands online is pretty good, it has some grind, but its not hard. It dose have its ups and downs, but the most fun part is the stands that are randomly generated. Most of the stands are bad but its fun doing pvp and fighting other people. They do update the game, and the holiday events are really nice. Nothing crazy though.
One promising game is the Stands online 'Big update', stands online has been below 100 players for well over a year but it still holds up imo, it's the one game i've been able to play consistently simply because of the insane rng system. The big update aims to rework the entire game and how most of the system works I believe. It was one of the first jojo games I played before ABD got *really* big back in 2019

Dude this was this jojo game i used to play but i can't find it anymore and i can't even find videos but i remember it being popular, the cover was like a bloxy giorno, you would spawn in Cairo and every time you punch you gain xp, you also had to level up high enough to be worthy to get a stand, wait somehow for an arrow to spawn and try to win the lottery on getting a stand thats good , it was around for 4 years
Woah woah woah, Old AUT nu was by far the best state AUT has been in but after m1 v3 dropped it died and then later got revived by another revamp (which might die off because of the fact that it’s a skin collecting game now.)
Agree with most things but "sakura stand is a skin collector game" in sakura stand most people really don't care about this, since specs are way harder to get.
The only reason i kept playing roblox was abd and yba, i remembered i found my actual few friends and the nicest people in those games (most of the time). I still love then dear to my heart
I was at my lowest when i grinded in Sakura Stand and SUR, now i dont even know the crazy shit that is happening there, last time i logged Flamescion was the most broken PVP a ability in game for over 6 monthes
Project JoJo was amazing. I used to play it when it first came out but dropped it after it got the biggest wipe and the entire rebalance, it really destroyed the fun for me.
Also you should try stand powers ngl their cutscenes is goated and the dev bro is a girl and she updates the game every single day. like how is that even possible
Quite a shame.. there's a reason on why RIU is going down at the moment though, people being unpatient. They are making a huge update wich kind of reworks majority of the stands, due to a feature they are gonna add called: empowered moves, they are adding a new map, you can view it aswell then too, combo feature and mafia members who can just pull up on ya
Personally, I think Jojo games work best as battleground games. The problem with getting stands is that, in order to get a powerful one, u need to work hard for it, now, using arrows to randomly get stands was a smart move. But eventually its going to be tiring. So unless we figure out a way to deal with this issue, the genre wont survive.
Man Bizzare Adventures was so peak during the Za Shadow event then they just gave up on it I'm so sad that it's gone now it used to be the best jojo game on xbox. Good video already by the way man
Tbh the biggest missed potential about jojo games is that theres almost no difference in endgame content. %99 of jojo games' endgames are: get cool stand, get skin and pvp. It just feels sad that most developers for jojo games almost never innovate and take risks around how to make their game stand out compared to games like yba and such. It would be fun to do quests or kill some bosses and NOT go around the map for 30 minutes to an HOUR so I can gamble for a spiderman skin.

Until the Roblox Jojo Community themselves demand better for themselves, or give other games a chance, the genre will unfortunately continue to wither out and die. Other games can't exactly flourish if they don't have the funding, and by proxy players to do so after all.

N probably died due to unbalancing. As an N OG, N had such a low-skill ceiling. It's so easy to perform possible one-shot combos, it’s also generally a stun simulator.
N also died due to the lack of changes. They kept adding stands instead of changing the map, more content, etc. I’m glad N died to save my sanity from those vampire mains that stun you for 10282910292 years straight.

@MojangNailedit I’ve played it recently and stands like king crimson, crazy diamond, the world, star platinum, and white snake ALL have true one shot combos that you CANNOT escape. Other specs like vampire and bohemian rhapsody also have the same issue. The game is HEAVILY unbalanced like you mention and it’s a stun simulator like you mentioned as well. Not too long ago, i met someone with damage hacks or something and they did more damage than they should of using the hand. I also saw someone using fly hacks and vampire too.
if you cared about the balance of the game, there was always the option of joining a clan to compete in 1v1s with other people (which is what i did)
The Golden Age of Jojo games will forever be in my heart as I got to meet so many great people in that era and really got to see the ups and downs of communities with no tinted lenses

My opinion I think they falling is because there isn’t really anything new developers can do that hasn’t already been seen in another game because jojo has a very complicated power system in terms of how abilities look and what they do. In short it’s very limited to how much the developer can imagine what their game has that others dont

What we need is something FUN and UNIQUE like idc about how the game looks as long as it’s fun I’m going to play it. My personal favorite was project jojo that introduced stand fusion,traits,stand levels. It was so ahead of its time and I’d play prime project jojo any day over any other new jojo game. Another thing people need to start doing is just adding more stands, like there’s so many stands in jojo with crazy cool abilities but every game just has the same exact few stands, it’s like people didn’t even watch the show and just looked up the MC’s and put their abilities in.
PJJ was the best one as for me, and will forever be. The unbalance was the most fun thing to play around with. If you thought your fusion was the peak of broken, there always was a more broken one.
I’ve been playing yba since like 2019/2020ish and I really hope uzu starts being honest to his community and gives updates more often, it has so much potential it being the most popular jojo game and having the best combat (imo) such a shame to see the game go out like this

Best jojo game in my opinion is the Old Stand Upright, the only jojo game which i had fun and liked (i like yba a bit too but its nothing compared to stand upright) but when it was shut down, it left my heart broken, i still miss it
If someone ever steps up to make a new JoJo game, I can only hope they make a "sequel" to PJJ.
The modern day games tend to just ignore the non-anime parts for the exception of Tusk, WOU, D4C, Spin, Scary Monsters and S&W, while PJJ went as deep as crap like Mandom and Speed King.
My personal favourite combat system as of now is AUT's, maybe a combo of that and half stun (Type Soul and Rouge Lineage's stun style, it's pretty cool).

Aut really started to go downhill after the combat rework imo. The devs really started to adopt a “money first” mindset around this time. Limited skins, Clever Curse/Sponsored section, long grinds to pad out for premium payouts, etc. The devs would frequently talk to the community (which I enjoyed alot) and pitch ideas for obtainment methods or abilities. Most of which being “jokes” about how say Kratos will be a 2 week grind. Most of us will pass it off as a haha funny, then they actually do it.
When Nub shifted the games focus to PvE, he completely broke the “meta” if you can call it. Allocating like 100 skill points to do a decently better combo was fine. But when he released 500 lvl cap, Dawn rework, and awakened Umbra all at once, it ruined everything. He and most devs stayed adamant that the community will have to suck it up. We’re lucky Boojie tried to do SOME damage control at all.
The Asgore update was seen as the worst update ever, but honestly it was just a warning for what was to come with the Dawn rework. The Asgore obtainment honestly wasnt the worst thing ever, reducing the spawn time to 30 minutes was all it needed. People were just mad with both the spawn time and doing the boss in a public server.
There's worse issues than that, though. Because of the added Ascension mechanic and the addition of health potions to their ucoin shop, there have been instances where people have been using absolutely impossible specs in tandem with spamming health potions to drag pvp out for an eternity. (The impossible specs being Dawn and Umbra mostly.) The potions only cost like 10k ucoins, which is dirt cheap for alot of sweaty players, and heal like a third of your health bar no matter what you're using. You can fill your entire inventory with them. I had to fight an Umbra with max ascensions with more than 4 people at one point and they literally couldn't go down no matter what we tried.
There are also alot of stands that aren't optimized, one such stand being Locke, who can literally land a full stunlock ToD on you by only using 4 moves into M1 chains over and over.
One inherently major problem in AUT are the very apparent influx of exploiters. We have people who are outright lagswitching in combat now, which is an exploit that is insanely difficult to report when you acknowledge AUT's next insanely prevalent issue; ABSURD server optimization.
I will not specify which, but I live in a state very close to Texas. So, I should connect to a Texas server, right? Of course, using any other location would make the ping atrocious. So, I connect to a Texas server and--why is my ping 200 or 300m/s? This makes the game unplayable and I have complained about this plenty of times before.
The final nail in the coffin for me wasn't any of the given above, but hilariously, it was because they made the daily quests singlehandedly THE MOST TEDIOUS THING EVER. No, I don't want to grind 15 level 80+ thugs and then defeat 3 bosses that probably are not there. Bosses respawn every hour? Oh brother. I bet another gaggle of players have already ran through this server and nabbed the bosses for their dailies, it explains the sudden 3/16 player count in the lobby. If not because the game is dying already anyways.
I'd mention toxicity but, you know, is that not accounted for in every other roblox game, too? I feel like mentioning the unending heaps of toxicity I encounter in AUT would be like pouring a bottle of water into the ocean at this rate. I have seen sexism, racism, players getting jumped by 3 or more people for winning a fair 1v1 against another player. The usual for roblox, dude. AUT isn't a community I see worth being apart of anymore, even if I made alot of cool memories there.
Give Untitled Stand Game a try when it gets a full release. It bangs.

You almost HAVE to pick certain stands/specs to have a chance at winning. And not to mention the HORRENDOUS npc move design. Their grabs are the most fucking annoying things ive ever encountered in a pve game, and the fact that they can stunlock you into an infinite grab chain is so stupid. Or the fact that if you have 3 npcs on you, if a single one lands a hit, half your health will be gone because for some reason they deal absurd amounts of damage such that 3 npcs can just kill you.
I could see the signs of aut getting worse when the m1 reworks after the ge reworks started coming out. They were something noone asked for, and it genuinely made the game worse. M1s felt so clunky and awful now, but the thing is that m1s _are an essential part of aut._
Then the combat rework came out and good god did a toddler conceptualise most of this? Knives that can be perfect blocked that stun the user??? A cancelable barrage that takes a good second to come out? Perfect blocking anything other than knives literally leaving no stun on either user, making it a simple damage negater? It being literally impossible to tell if a move was perfect blockable until you tried?
Aut 1v1s became a ‘catch me if you can’ simulator, because it just became a game of trying to m1 your opponent first and hoping to god they dont get some bs miracle to appear that saves them like lagging straight outta the combo.
And combos! Holy god the combos. They feel _so awful._ i’ll look at dawn to be specific. Old dawn was broken. No question about it. Then the dawn rework before the combat rework came and everyone was like ??? This is dogshit. Which it was. It was NOT fun to play. Dawn, yasuo and yone were VERY obviously their attempts to see what people thought of a heat system. They saw that people liked the abilities (but not the heat systems) and went ‘wow! They must love the heat systems!’ And developed a whole rework around it.
Now a heat system wouldn’t be _that_ bad, if YOU KNEW WHAT MOVES REQUIRED HEAT BEFORE YOU PRESS THEM. YOU HAVE TO USE THE MOVE TO FIND OUT. And some stands or specs literally have almost EVERY move requiring heat. Planet shaper is probably an egregious example because of how annoying the heat system is with it. Building up heat with p//s isn’t a fast process, and when you do use your move that can use 100 heat, you HAVE to land it. Or you just wasted your best move.
Also, what is WITH p//s’ moves having so much endlag? It’s so uncomfortably long.
Anyway. Bit of a rant. Tldr, aut is absolute ass rn and the devs seem to be trying to make the worst decisions possible. Like releasing a combat rework before they had more than 10 stands reworked for it. So people had about 5 stands to use while they waited.

This most recent update has officially sent the quality of the game into oblivion. They took all of our base moves, limited them to a very small selection, and also locked them behind a leveling wall. Its some cheesy card-drawing game now. With RIU it’s fun not because of how realistic it is but because how easy the grinding is and how fun the PVP and there constantly adding updates and hosting tournaments. ( i was able to get to lvl 100 in about 2 hours and it was like a bandit beater but the quests were easy and short)

An issue i see being more common in the community its in the RUclipsrs and New games, they basically use "THE NEXT BEST JOJO GAME YBA KILLER" in every new game, creating megahype just to help kill the new game faster when it drops cause the mega expectations the community create.

The only issue that I kinda have with roblox jojo games is the fact that I'm really not sure what there is for devs to do when it comes to the genre, when it comes to playing your favorite stand from the show, YBA and TCA are already doing that for the most part and I think you can only play the stands from the show so many times before you get tired of it. It's like every The World has a barrage, TS, knives and road rollar. If I'm being honest the only thing I can think of to inflict some life or ideas into the genre is to maybe take a drastic change, maybe have a jojo/stand game where you don't even have any of the stands from the show, instead focusing on new stands created by devs or others. Include a fusion or mix system into it for added customization. This is all I got off the top of my head, but I think it's clear the genre needs a change and it needs more customization to keep people invested.

What makes me mad is that a Jojo game called untitled stand game WHICH WAS SOOO HYPE yet they discontinued it. It had amazing graphics, epic cutscene and decently cool mechanics. It was going to be sooo big yet they left it to die closed
MLGs power trips once got so bad the original place got nuked and the game had to be rereleased on a new, entirely different baseplate. 2017 was fuckin wild.
A lot of jojo games suffer from the aba problem where with each update the new stand was broken or garbage and skill spammy which aba does as well which is why the majority of these type of games die

it would be pretty cool if they add some sort of mechanics like choosing alternatuve moves that you unlock. For example instead of a star finger for the x move you ll choose leg sweep star platinium or smt. But of course this comes with balancing moves ,restricting even (in pvp ranked etc). The reason for these alternative moves is bcz stands in general are used in the manga in such precises and creative ways that u can implement them in the game... like the moves are all in the manga and there are so many.
then by choosin your moves you can basically make your own stand build, they can also have a more complex system like the move a 'changes' (becomes a counter with a new animation, name etc) or "evolves" (adds a final blow that sends ppl flying ) if you add the move b in the build. or even smtg like you can include move a in your build if you include move b and c. I feel like the combat would be much better if you have to watch out and learn your ennemy s moves/combos as the fight goes on

the amount of times i lost my progress in aut is the same amount of times ive been randomly killed by a twoh user in yba while rolling stands
RIU is not only close to canon, it has a lot of features, unique content (77 rings trial and trials overall) and some stands which you will not see in other jojo games (CtR, Metallica). Djudjo (the owner and the head developer) really cares about the manga and the anime and so he does with RIU making quality content last updates. The grind for levels was simplified too and is not that hard as it was at release of the game. The only downside of RIU is excess of skins but still there come many content every update. It is disappointment the game is still so underrated and people prefer to play purposely unbalanced YBA than RIU even if pvp there is not that good (but I like that it is simple so you don't get overwhelmed by some oneshot boxing + Scary Monsters combos)

The main reason they're dying out are because they either have barely any updates, were abandoned or are turning into skin grinding simulators.
Somebody really needs to come out with a jojo game that doesn't focus on stun simulator combat and balancing but being as accurate to the source material as possible, actually living in the world of jojo instead of just using it's abilities to make a generic fighter would be extremely reinventive and might revive the genre tbh

I used to work on a game a few people may remember, called "Unknown Crusade: Rewritten", and I will also give my opinion on the state of JoJo games.
Well. First things first, I canceled UC: R. Well, not really.
I released and opened UC: R and immediately stopped working on it.
Now, I will explain why I canceled UC: R and left this Roblox genre entirely.
It's simple, all of the games, including UC: R, lacked a fun and replayable gameplay loop because all they focused on was the visual part of the game.

Something that I think helped is that the Jojo community kinda dwindled over the long wait Stone Ocean, the wait for Jojolion's end, and then the wait for Jojolands to begin.

The truth is for example YBAs owner Uzu doesn’t need to update the game and it will still pull in thousands of players and make him a thousand dollars+ a day. Most owners know this and I dont expect a RUclipsr who isnt an experienced developer to notice this, same with Project Slayers, the fact is demon slayer doesn’t have as much connect as other anime’s compared to Naruto or One Piece so the owners of those type of games are playing it long term and waiting till they see a huge dip in players then updating or taking their time to pull out quality updates which everyone enjoys. A game example of this is AFS and the sequel AFSX, people who played the game grinded it and maxed it out didn’t wanna go through all of that again so their audience was quite small but if they rebranded it into a different name and marketed it well, it could’ve survived for much longer rn its averaging around 3-5k ccu

Sakura Stands used to be really fun, with somewhat fair obtainment methods and whatnot.
But ever since Fate decided to leave for the new devs to replace him it's become actual hell, the farming is unfair and the specs are just unbalanced, nothing makes sense anymore.

what the jojo sphere of anime games needs right now is something easy to get into that gets updated frequently. practically every game either has some type of annoying grind to get through in order to play (yba, aut, tca, etc.) or just doesnt get updated frequently (funnily enough, yba and aut are also examples of this, along with games like world of stands). it could be a story based game that turns the grind into actual engaging content, or it could just be a pvp game where u can immediately make any build u want and fight people.

YBA doesn't have bad progression. It takes about 1-2 days to get prestige 3 level 50.
@@dreamslayer7502 1. thats if u no life it, get a stand and spec good for pve quickly, and already have a good understanding of the game, 3 things a new player probably wont get (minus maybe a good stand) 2. u still need to get stands and specs, and if u want to actually experiment with stands and specs its going to take a long time to get what u want, especially if its the over heaven stuff. the game's grind isnt as long as some other games, but i still wouldnt say its good or even decent by any means. its not really all that fun and is just something u want to get through as quickly as possible, a pretty good indicator that it isnt good.

ABD was my first ever jojo game on roblox, and MAN. the golden days were so fun, the grinding wasn't TO bad, and i remember I managed to get a Sans-Crimson, and holy I was SO excited, for once in a game i managed to get something I really wanted, and the trading aspect wasn't as bad as.. some other games.
Guest himself is actually the reason why the game died and updates took forever, the ownership switching was just confirmation the game was over
AUT recently dropped below 1k players the devs ruined their economy by adding unob crates mythic crates and balancing issues especially when they said they weren’t going to be a YBA skin cash grab but they exactly went down that path

Out of all these games, TCA is my favorite. I really don’t play Roblox JoJo games because of the lag, grinding, and the game just being very unbalanced, so when I found TCA, it mostly fixed these things for me, and others too. I really enjoy the game, and hope more people start to play it, and gains more popularity overtime. I feel it has great potential, and more popularity would mean more support to the game, allowing them to really show this potential.

For some reason i still play a bizarre day, mostly for the reason that i find the combat fun even if its the most bare bones, and also for the nostalgia and people still play on time to time and dare i say it, feels like a tight and close community for some reason, i’ve played yba and pjj in their prime as well, and it genuinely saddens me seeing the state of these once good games
Stands online is pretty good, it has some grind, but its not hard. It dose have its ups and downs, but the most fun part is the stands that are randomly generated. Most of the stands are bad but its fun doing pvp and fighting other people. They do update the game, and the holiday events are really nice. Nothing crazy though.
i miss the 2019 2020 golden years of jojo games, when PJJ had a lot of players, ABD, YBA was peak with the steel ball run
One promising game is the Stands online 'Big update', stands online has been below 100 players for well over a year but it still holds up imo, it's the one game i've been able to play consistently simply because of the insane rng system. The big update aims to rework the entire game and how most of the system works I believe. It was one of the first jojo games I played before ABD got *really* big back in 2019

Dude this was this jojo game i used to play but i can't find it anymore and i can't even find videos but i remember it being popular, the cover was like a bloxy giorno, you would spawn in Cairo and every time you punch you gain xp, you also had to level up high enough to be worthy to get a stand, wait somehow for an arrow to spawn and try to win the lottery on getting a stand thats good , it was around for 4 years

Agree with most things but "sakura stand is a skin collector game" in sakura stand most people really don't care about this, since specs are way harder to get.
Honestly I love RiU just because of the PvE, Standless is clunky but I've seen some people pull off amazing stunts with everything.
The only reason i kept playing roblox was abd and yba, i remembered i found my actual few friends and the nicest people in those games (most of the time). I still love then dear to my heart
I was at my lowest when i grinded in Sakura Stand and SUR, now i dont even know the crazy shit that is happening there, last time i logged Flamescion was the most broken PVP a ability in game for over 6 monthes
Project JoJo was amazing. I used to play it when it first came out but dropped it after it got the biggest wipe and the entire rebalance, it really destroyed the fun for me.

Quite a shame.. there's a reason on why RIU is going down at the moment though, people being unpatient. They are making a huge update wich kind of reworks majority of the stands, due to a feature they are gonna add called: empowered moves, they are adding a new map, you can view it aswell then too, combo feature and mafia members who can just pull up on ya
Personally, I think Jojo games work best as battleground games.
The problem with getting stands is that, in order to get a powerful one, u need to work hard for it, now, using arrows to randomly get stands was a smart move. But eventually its going to be tiring.
So unless we figure out a way to deal with this issue, the genre wont survive.
Man Bizzare Adventures was so peak during the Za Shadow event then they just gave up on it I'm so sad that it's gone now it used to be the best jojo game on xbox. Good video already by the way man

Tbh the biggest missed potential about jojo games is that theres almost no difference in endgame content. %99 of jojo games' endgames are: get cool stand, get skin and pvp. It just feels sad that most developers for jojo games almost never innovate and take risks around how to make their game stand out compared to games like yba and such. It would be fun to do quests or kill some bosses and NOT go around the map for 30 minutes to an HOUR so I can gamble for a spiderman skin.
Yea so many jojo games suffer from trying to copy what made another game popular which has led to this constant state of every jojo game feeling the exact same with a different coat of paint
