I owned one of these, back in 1970...I paid $600 dollars for it!...the asking price on this restored model is out of line...these cars, though pretty, simply do not command such prices...they will be lucky to get $40-50 thousand for this car...and it does not have the unique AC tubes that flared up in the back windows, delivering the cool air through overhead vents. That option alone would bring several thousand dollars more--it is rare!

These, huge, cruisers, are finally getting the attention they deserve!! You had realized what a bargain they were back in the day. Can you imagine how expensive it would be to restore such a complicated car??!! A/C was a rare option, even in this top, price range. Thanks for sharing your memories and watching, Curbozer Boomer.

One huge luxury car. I liked the Caddy's and Imperials from that era more than the Lincoln's.

These behemoths pushed the limits of legal dimensions as well as the dual light laws. I find all of them interesting, but, if I had to choose one, it would be the '56 Packard.

I like them all--but the Lincoln had the most unique styling, and likely the best, sumptuous interiors. The Imperials would be my 2nd choice.
