@@stitch603 its worth it for me without VR ,it plays like old school Acecombat , modern effects like fire and explosions , and its not too expensive , dont know if its worth for VR ,but its only $29,99 so give it a try

Oh he's going to love the giant furball on Mission 11.
Edit 1, The giant explosion was caused by Cordium, explained by the story intro you skipped.
Panels galore, DCS showed me the way. Snagged this though and cant wait to try it!

high graphics in VR which requires x3 more computational power than flatscreen gaming because of... VR
Vr isnt optimised alot so fps gets low
For those who might encounter it: If VR camera is facing down etc press C / V to recenter camera.

That would be nice. Ac7 still great, but the Kazutoki Kono team need fresh ideas after so long.

As others have said, this is basically an Ace Combat clone, even moreso than I was expecting (which I'm fine with btw). Check out Ace Combat 7 if you want more of this arcady experience with maybe a little more polish/production value (e.g. actual licensed aircraft). But that only has limited VR support and the VR might still be only available on playstation versions, I'm not sure.
VR is still limited to PSVR for Ace Combat 7
This game was in production before ace combat 7 was announced
The game actually plays a lot better than Ace Combat, and I say that as a very long time Ace Combat fan, only advantage AC has over Wingman is the story, soundtrack, and visuals imo

I just upgraded from the 1060 to the 3090
I want to upgrade from a 1080 to a 3080...bought an ultrawide 1440p monitor...didn't realize the slight FPS hit I would take.

Ace Combat 7 Skies Unknown new DLC.. played that on PS4 VR.. was not bad a lot of instant action its funn to play but its like it said Arcade game compere to DCS.
which command did I open to activate VR in the game?
are you using just the VR controllers? I dont have the money to buy the actual setup so i was wondering if itll still be enjoyable. I play VTOL VR and i have fun on that without a physical throttle
Yeah vtol vr seems to be one in a kind so far
You can use thrustmaster joystick l. Works the same and works with pc

Nice that you reviewed it, was looking into buying it but wasn't sure. Probably too arcadish for me.
It's very arcadish, but it's a fair distraction for the price, and I'm betting the 3-man team will be adding to it.
3090 only 40 fps??? I wonder what would be like with 1060, power point slides?
The rendering quality on the options at the bottom of the Settings menu can also be turned down if there are issues, too.
I can play with normal settings, 80% SS and no reprojection on a GTX1070. This is a fairly well optimized game. Much easier to run than something like DCS World.
