People hate this zilla but this was the first godzilla movie i saw and became a fan of monster verse this was awesome movie for me back in the day and still is
This was also my first Godzilla film as well. I enjoyed it. It's not my favorite. But it was a good monster film none the less. Godzilla vs Destroyah though is a really good film. One that I can recommend. I remember the ending for that movie made me cry upon my first watch of it.
Good thing that Madison Square Garden was destroyed because it was once the site of the original Pennsylvania Station that lasted from 1911 to 1963 when it was demolished to make for MSG and was met with heavy backlash from the Preservation movement
Robert Pershing Wadlow, (1918-1940) was the tallest man on Earthh at 8'11, and the fact that the Baby Zillas are 9 feet tall indicates they would tower over Wadlow. Which makes these things even more scarier💀
The only questionable thing here is how can one animal lay that many eggs. It takes a lot for the animal body to produce one egg, and this was how many? Hundreds?
People can hate on this, and some of the special effects are old, but I still like it. I like a more "realistic" Godzilla, instead of the old hokey Japanese version. I heard that the Japanese actually like their monsters a little hokey, or at least used to.

Exactly, not saying its the best, but it brought a whole new generation of fans, especially in the West.

x2 For me it was the first Godzilla movie (in this case Zilla) when I was barely 7 or 8 years old. I consider it my favorite movie of my childhood.
