Vardy is one hell of a striker and natural goal scorer he’s gotten plenty of goals in the premier league since they moved up and is definitely an underrated player that deserves more recognition
the vardy comment aged badly
@@hoze1235 don’t see how, still had over ten contributions last season, just because he didn’t win the golden boot again doesn’t mean he’s bad all of a sudden.
@@hoze1235 aged badly? What are you on about?
@@chriserrickson3412 the guy is nuts. I don't know if he's a troll or what but vardy is an absolutely brilliant striker
defoe is so underrated
Kreyan shunmugam because of his age imo no one is willing to sign him because of it
Kreyan shunmugam I'm a gooner and he reminds me of Wrighty
and Lukaku massively over rated
Defoe 183 goals on the PL

- Strikers have to be 3 things
1. Clinical (Finishing Ability)
2. Composed (Calm & Relaxed)
3. Confidence (Believing in his ability)
Perfect, make another one for defenders
Quality video. Fully anticipating that I'll be the Sunday League Lukaku this weekend after watching this. Realistically I'll still just be the Sunday League Simone Zaza.
The Football Republic well Zaza scored against Real Madrid the other day so I'd be pretty happy to be him right now.
3:17 what are chairs?
Bronx Blues NYCFC :D
I love that you guys are making these videos! You guys are great, and have awesome content!
The Pocchettino episode was soooo gooood.
suarez as a thumbnail, no suarez interview, a bit disappointed
this is great insight, and nothing but the truth coming from the players about what it takes to be a striker. and strikers are bred, but from a young age and over time. repetition and practice in front of goal and in games. Keep it up with videos like this!
Thanks for the kind words, Cobi 👌
in spanish please! :)
my kid is 9. they have always played him at striker. lately I was thinking he should play other positions for development sake.
But I doubt the coaches will do that. So I guess we'll just embrace it and go "all in" on striker and practice it even more. Practice striker specific stuff a lot to make him the best striker in the land.
I really enjoyed that and will watch again. It's clearly a different experience for strikers - they're the most valuable because their task is the crucial one.
I think the best are simply the ones that enjoy scoring the most - after a goal, there are feelings of power, validation and importance, emotions strong enough to live for.
This is one of the best documentary I've ever watched and defoe's mentality is perfect for a striker he's concentrated on box as I understood.
Thank you for the kind words.
You're welcome :)
I play as a striker, and one thing I realize every time I score is I don't know how it was done, and I think that's a sign that you're a good striker, you didn't think about how to score, it just happens.
Wilson Leonardy I agree. It just comes naturally, you dont have to think about it, you just do it.
Wilson Leonardy I agree when I think I over complicate it and focus 2 much but when I let loose and use my instinct I score goals
IBZ.X NETWORK it’s probably why one on ones I hard to score at times because you have too much time to think whereas if you’re inside 12 yards and the ball comes to you and there’s pressure on you, you just don’t think about it but you know where the ball is going without thinking
Yup. That's how you know you're good
@@DanTwigGolf Agreed. I play striker but I have remember to not think on 1 on 1's and just blast it bottom corner. Works every time.
And then there's messi. He's a playmaker a goal scorer. A dribbler. A winger. Attacking midfielder. Goodness me. How can someone be able to do all these things at such a high level.
Neymar is. Ronaldo could be but RM's playstyle is not good for playmakers. Iniesta. Zlatan. Zlatan and Iniesta is not wingers but they are everything else
I wouldn't say Iniesta is a goalscorer
Well those skills Messi have are useless if you can't even take a decent penalty, win a back to back to back UCL, bring home international silverware for you country. Nobody can really defeat hard work, except handwork itself.
EggBoyHero and there are people who think Ronaldo is better... I don’t get it
@@PatrickHu if he's in the position he can
Please make one for midfielders🙏🏽🙏🏽
Interesting doc. Got me thinking that I would love to see mini series doc exploring the art of 'Player Roles' i.e False Nine, Regista, Sweeper etc. The understanding, philosophy and origination of the system and its roles.
The best strikers comes from South America. They play for their family with the highest passion
Uh... not really. There are good ones from SA, but many good ones from Europe too like Harry Kane and Erling Haaland and of course Ronaldo and Mbappe.
lovely film, definitely watching it more than twice! 👍
Great documentary FF2 beautiful graphics.
Thank you! 😀 We're glad to hear you enjoyed it.
Ball Street Why didn’t you just write 442?
Imagine if you're cristiano or messi who practically scores a goal every game. Now that's the art of goalscoring.
Exactly !
A lot of it is the quality of the service. You have to have quality teammates.
I haven't scored a goal for two years as a CDM and then I scored a header and I was so happy for the entire day :D
Good documentary
Glad you enjoyed it, Kit 😁
this was an insightful and well made documentary i can dig
great vid as always. do another for defenders
Hi Stefanos - we'll get to work! In the meantime, why not listen to pro tips from Hector Bellerin on playing as an attacking full-back 👉 ruclips.net/video/cQ9ukrQnYJ4/видео.html
I think vardy is indeed a natural goal scorer. Its not whether the goals are coming or not for me its how they do it the mannerisms even when they miss you can find the beauty in a missed shot and vardy showed that his goal or half way line against liverpool was pure instinct
One of the best videos I have ever watched! Amazing.
Glad you liked it 😃
Amazing! I'd love to see a film like that on defenders!
excellent video..more like this please..
Thanks for the kind words Victor!
Amazing insight. Wonder how many realized they have that bit of selfishness in them but don't wanna share :D
Thanks for your kind words - we're glad you liked it 😝
So when a coach tells you your not meant to play striker or born to play striker your gonna quit? No try again you don't need to be born with a gift you just need to have the mindset to outwork the so called talented to keep going.
Amazing video please do one for goalkeepers
Hi Samisgr8. We can help you become a better goalkeeper. Check out our playlist full of drills and pro tips from the likes of Joe Hart, Simon Mignolet, Asmir Begovic and Victor Valdes 👉 ruclips.net/p/PLsLsr76bONJlVF9oQVFp4GSNyCYvjw2Bx
Joe Hart and Mingolet? I thought you said BETTER keeper!
Art or defending next?
Eajj a l.p. see you 2 ser
U guys never disappoint me;) fantastic video, as always!
Have to disagree with Paul Mersons opinion about goal scorers being born. Henry started as a Winger and even admits himself that he's not a natural goal scorer like David Trezeguet is. It's just about hard work, repetition and training. That hard work bred Henry into a goal machine, a mon avis.
I think that, like most things, there are some who are perhaps are more naturally attuned to certain positions, but I agree that most people can also learn most positions through hard work. For ex, I never wanted to play goalie as a kid, but later in life something clicked and I started playing and excelled at it.

- Working with Yakubu :
1. Finishing
2. Positioning
What a creation. Nice.
Cheers 👊
Natural goalscorers-rubbish!! it's from Practice Practice and Practice. C.Ronaldo at 18 and C.Ronaldo now. Case in point.
I think like most things, it is a combination. But even those with no natural ability can learn it through practice.
Beautifully made! Make another film about defensive midfield role.
I'm an irish liverpool fan but defo is my favourite non liverpool player
Is Suarez in the video or click bait?
Noone cares about the Pitbull Suarez
@@bh2861 and no one cares for your comment fuck-O!!
Defoe absolute legend! Would loved to have seen him wear a Liverpool shirt
Great documentary, the editing was class 👍🏼
Great video!!
It's fitting to have Luis Suarez as the thumbnail cause he may he the most natural goal scorer of the past generation ,the best striker after Messi and CR7. Now there's a Haaland...
Should make a video for all positions, would love to see CB.
Nice a little documentary!! please more like this!!
Kind words - thank you! 🙌
3:58
Take your words back about vardy,he is pretty much consistent every season.
That’s right Strikers are the most important in a team.!
You need the natural qualities but you can learn the art as much as you can any position.
Can you also do one for midfielders or wingers? :D Fantastic work!
Great video
To be honest, Jermaine Defoe is a born striker hes just been unlucky that he hasnt signed for a top top team. give him 2 chances he will score 1 , so him getting a team that will give him 4-5 chances a game he'll be betting braces weekly
does he still play?
can someone give me the name of the soundtrack
Can you do one about wingers please
This was great but i would love one about goalkeepers
A whole Documentary about the Art of Goalscoring, involving loads of BPL players and not a single mention of one of the greatest at this art: Van Nistelrooy! A bit disappointed
Arjun Wijayaratnam van nistelrooy chill
Wow someone really always has to complain about something.
I am not complaining, I was just disappointed not to see him. God, this is a comment section where people are free to express their thoughts, stop seeing everything as negative :)
What are you talking about? This documentary is about British Premier League strikers; what does Van Basten have to do with this discussion?
Arjun Wijayaratnam van nistelerooy is not British also
Could you do about goalkeepers?
song ?
Make one for Goalkeepers. We deserve some attention
Its more than too tho trust me for a team.
Quality
good vid but i was expecting to hear from Suarez
i think vardy is a born striker
Hm, these people are invested in the idea that you have to have some form of 'gift' because it makes what they do seem special. However with a will to learn how to score and the determinism to practice it over and over again, you can do it too.
Michael Owen, miss him.
Great Documentary #442Performance
Thank you 😁
Does anyone know who did the music in this?
whats the name of music
What's the song in the intro?
I love Suarez
Merson was wrong about vardy, great ST
perhaps more natural born strikers like chicharito, inzaghi, forlan, lewa, makaay, shearer, falcao, milito to their own instinct could enlighten footballs in future
3:17 what are chairs?
Can't believe merson just practically called vardy a trash striker
Suarez is a beast!
Yooo Alan Smith
I told my coach I'm going to score, I went in and scored a hat trick. I never looked back.
Brilliant 👏
what is the name of the song plz
Liniker is the best finisher ever
I'm a CAM (Sometimes LAM or RAM) and I can pass, chip, make assist, drible, jungle record is 354, and I have been playing soccer for soon 11 years. I can (In my opinion) everything you need. But I cant freaking score a goal. Of course I do score goals, but i miss too many chances. I cant just get the Ball into the goal, without curling it around the keeper, drible the only defender wich is twenty feet away, make a fake shot... you got it. I'm currently playing in the second best League for my age (13). What should I do?
Practice on hitting it as hard as possible but very accurate, then when you're on goal and blast it, it's humanly impossible for the goalie to react fast enough if you hit it hard enough.
Just bury it.
271325-132922281314 2918361321 My highest juggles 818
Don't worry about it. Passing if very important so focus on assisting. Do you still play?
Im striker
Micheal Owens voice though.
Paul Merson chats so much shite😂 great video though
maybe I just have a soft spot for him but Super Pippo needs a mention. that guy scored anyway he could. There is an art I think to being in the right place or even just forcing the damn thing in anyway you can. They all count and that boy has a lot of winners medals scoring boat loads of ugly goals.
Ronaldo used to score 60 goals a season as winger
The goalkeeper one was deeper
The art of diving with that rathead on the thumbnail
8:43. 👀👀
Defoe sounds exactly like Bellerin lmao
Fucking irritates me that people says “Omree” when adressing Thierry Henry 3:47
6:51 what the fuck happened to Ronaldo?
Leicester City should have kept Steve Walsh :(
Still a club legend
Everything Ibra is
Im is the best striker in the world
Excellent work, but please stop with the fake football stories that I keep seeing on your news app on the IPhone
blablabla...
the art of defending ?
best finisher lukas podolski
first
Jermain Deffoe, EEEWWW.
What a rubbish talk Lukaku, signature move? Really?
nice people don’t make strikers
They all sound like ex drug users
26 goals in 92 games? Garbage
