Yes there was a time when groceries and gasoline were cheaper, but the covid crisis interrupted supply chains, and if Trump had admitted covid existed in the first place we would not have reached this dilemma. It took time for competent people to restore supply chains. I worked in the automobile manufacturing industry and we could not get parts because factories were shut down. This affected prices for a long time. Same holds true for all daily commodities. Trump deserves absolutely NO credit for prices across the board. Remember the words it will magically go away. The funny thing is he said he couldnt get all the money because the Judge ruled he couldnt take loans from NY banks...so the appellate judge said no to the 100 million but put a pause on Engorons blocking of him seeking loans from NY banks. They called his bluff and now he has to put up the entire amount.
He could not get NY banks to loan him any money long before he ever heard of or stepped foot into judge Engoron's court room...he's just trying to blame it on the judge and sentence of the case!
I doubt any bank will loan him money.
