This feels like an overbudget intro to a documentary of the Apollo missions and space exploration.
Literally the entire event is a document of what actually happened at the time humanity is about to reach the moon.
It should be😊
What made Control's Wishes hit that much harder is that we are living in a time where Kiristen's Wish came true, we opened the door and pushed to the final frontier. Us. The Human Race. Those Pioneers, those "Pursuers who throw themselves to the dark" weren't just part of the story, they were real. Their sacrifices were real.
This song, Kiristen's song makes you realize of the struggles and journey it took for us from the first ever flight of the Wright brothers to the Apollo missions in under a century, the beauty of it all. The human race as a species still has a long way to go, we're not done yet.
We chose to go to the moon. The sky is no longer the limit.

@@ZETAPLUSA70 theres some theory that Rhodes Islands is actually a space ship (expeditionary space ship) from original earth colony, and doctor, priestess (now she become PRTS AI), Friston (he became AI guarding all other original human that inside sarcophagus), so there it is, for is it true or not, take it with grain of salt because the lore still continue until ENDFIELD
Here's something better. The story of Lonetrail is pretty much the same thing as the first time we human landed on the moon: Controversies, dark secrets, morality, betrayal, military interference, and curiosity of the fate of mankind. Don't take my word for it, the writers for Starbound claimed it so. The tweets were deleted, but there was a record of it on the internet and they did explain it better than I could touch into.

I will say it all the time and it must be said again, Lonetrail is the best event Arknights has ever had and Hypergryph and Studio Montagne have made so far. This event had not only been a breakthrough in terms of storytelling but it has answered so many questions the community have pondered for so long, waiting to be known unto us. Even us witnessing the beginning of what will become the norm in Endfield. The music gives us that feeling of potential space exploration. The same feeling that inspired millions since the 1960s-1970s Space Race and by the stars Montagne has encapsulated that perfectly. Seeing this video and many similar clips proves it. I do hope and desire this next generation will be inspired to pursue further beyond this planet. To go where no one has gone before. For space is truly the last frontier. Per Audacia Ad Astra. Like many here, once you hear that "We have lift off" and the instrument play... it gives me goosebump. Truly one of the best BGM HG has release.

I love all the Intermazzi stories; Under Tides and Stultifera Navis flesh out the Seaborn immensely (and I love Skalter and Specter), A Walk in the Dust fleshes out Kal'tsit, Darknights and Babel answer questions on the past (especially the latter with the Doctor and I was vibrating the whole wait), and Ending a Grand Overture gives Siege her victory.
But Lone Trail? It brings the spotlight onto the Doctor, Priestess, and the Precursors; and opens up all connections to Talos-II for Endfield to later jump on. And I just love space.
