Y'know I really miss that point in time when Sparta Remixes were simple
    You've brought back that feeling

I wouldn't really call this one that simple but ik what you mean, lol. literally only made this remix to prove myself that I could make a close to modern sr if I *really* wanted to.
ik the community hates this being said but literally modern sr feels more like a ytpmv than what it once was. in hindsight, yeah, the current style is much more "defined" but idk, pre-2016 spartas have that style that isn't really found in modern remixes imo. also not to mention all the modern bases are literally in the same genre of music almost all of them sound more identical to each other than something like the madhouse bases being compared to the original sparta remix base.
maybe im being boomer-ish by saying all of that but idk. been watching these since like 2012 + became very disinterested with the thing in general lately so like lmaoooo.

@@0AiF Honestly, same. I've been in the community since 2023, and there's one thing for sure: I like simple Sparta Remixes rather than ones that try to go all out.
It's the reason why Jario's one of my favorite Spartans. He chooses to remain simple while making his pitches crystal clear and synth-like as found in Sparta Remixes today. He keeps his box visuals simple and organized; you can clearly see every instrument/sample that is being played.
Also, I do have to agree with every base sounding the same. Most of them are some generic electronic song or just straight up use the original Extended Remix instruments. (There are a few non-electronic bases such as Firewire.)

@@0AiF That being said, there's a whole bunch of other remixers (known and obscure) across RUclips. In fact, I've found close to 150 of them, each with their own unique styles! That's what my playlists try to achieve, I guess. I try to feature creators that aren't that well known throughout the community.
