Danica, the reason you feel more anxious, is because that anxiety that is burried deep in your mind is coming to the surface, and you experience it and it gets released. This purification is not something that can just be finished and done with overnight. It can take quite a long time. I don't know what meditation you do or how you practice it, or if you practice it correctly, but you might benefit from going on a long in residence course if there is one on that path you started and stopped. I've seen this before in the people I have met, and they confuse the stress they experience and think it is the practice, when it is really deep rooted stress.

I'm virgo ascendant with rahu placed in the lagna. Whatever you explained is absolutely right as per my experience. I've been best in Maths, Physics, & technical education till my college days. You are right, over analysing & thinking is something I do. But I think I do it to just make myself acquainted with everything I come across 😅.
