Found your channel by accident but subscribed so I wouldn't miss out on this practical advice that can be applied to all means of life. I have never been in prison, spent a long weekend in jail one time due to me being ignorant and stupid and being charged with drunk and disorderly. Nothing is free in life and life has a way of finding a perfect balance. That balance may or may not always include me in the equation and the equation may never work out in my favor, but I know the only way to survive is to move the chess pieces on the field of play, so things land in my favor if possible. Power is elusive and is often defeated in terrible ways, but success through pragmatic knowledge and application will often lead to long-term positive results. Your advice in these videos follows these principles and is welcome, and I thank you for your continued contribution.
Another great video sir. Like you, I started I the kitchen, but quickly moved into education. I also helped people with GED prep, and business plans. This was as helpful to me as it was to them, because it helped fill up my day.
Sir, very genuine and likable. Its clear you’re a fundamentally decent guy who screwed up, owned it, and paid the toll. Kudos for remaking yourself and being a credit to the community.
I really enjoyed hearing the details of how Holmes life in prison will be like. I was fortunate to spend only a few weeks in prison, of which 2 were in solitary confinement, and then with the general population. For a privileged person, like myself , not to be able to go outside and have air, and to watch the verbal and physical abuse by the guards of down-beaten inmates, was really horrible. I then experienced being with the general population, and was subjected to punishment, (24 hrs in your cell), for bringing food into my cell. Also shared a cell with a female sex offender, so did not sleep much, and was always cold and hungry. I wake up everyday so relieved that I am here, in a lovely living space with so much freedom....still no drivers license, nor car, but free to breathe the air and be outside.
@@JohnSmith-eo5sp Hi John, I have been following this case and am deeply sickened by rich people thinking they can do whatever they want, regardless of the fallout to patients, employees, and lastly investors. What a great attitude! Do you feel that your prison experience and your hard work there has purged any character flaw that may have brought you to prison? Or do you have to still work on it?
I really appreciate that you're so open about your past experienced and that jail time made you develop your humanity. Great example that some people do deserve a second chance.
Holmes may have gotten into Stanford but too bad she wasn’t smart to incorporate morals and values into her life! Her business plan and fund raising included lies and deceit. She intentionally lowered her voice in order to be taken seriously. Maybe her baritone voice will be enough to protect her from the mean old hardened criminals looking for a physical fight. What do the likes of Clinton, Schultz, and big money investors think of her now?! Btw, you're coming across as her resume writer - as well as her motivational role model. "Dignity in tact?" "Hidden benefits to this prison experience?" Holmes should be ashamed of herself - and take a good look at who she is and what she has done - and just simply wake the heck up and turn her life around! She needs to go from living a life of lies and deceit to an asset to society!
Thanks very much for this video. Really fresh perspective about this case. People usually talk about the verdict and sentences, but what exactly will be happening is usually unclear. Thanks for clearing the doubts about the next steps EH may possibly be facing if found guilty.
