  • On the occasion of Guru Purnima, Vipassana Research Institute is glad to release the first part of the autobiographical film "Dhamma Ka Safar" on our Principal Teacher Shri Satyanarayana Goenka ji.
    Through the medium of animation, it visualizes, his own writings, the first 31 years of his life. From his birth in the year 1924 to his first Vipassana course in 1955.
    The film seeks to showcase his life as a youth, a family man, a poet, a social reformer, a foremost and eminent businessman of his time, and an individual in pursuit of the truth. Exploring his upbringing, influences, achievements, struggles, and his journey towards Dhamma, through Sayagyi U Ba Khin & Vipasanna Meditation.
