So... did anyone notice that those Loki summon lines sound calm and not screamed out like when Akechi went insane? I expect great things from the Crimson Edition! ;D
John Doe Fair enough, if anything, the Squeeking may support that theory in the sence that Akechi could be hacked in earlier than he actually is added, but what kinda sells the idea for me that he's gonna be used more in Crimson Edition is that he as confident lines, just like the rest of the party, that were never used in game. Edit: Both Akechi and Sae both have "Allow me to explain" and "and that is it" lines, leading me to believe they were both intended to be non-automatic confidents, I can still see Akechi being one, Sae not so much.
Hexavius's Evil Lab There is some backing to that as reportedly Morgana has some unused clips where he calls Akechi by his FIRST name. As anyone with a basic grasp of Japanese speaking can tell you that's actually pretty important, combine that with what you just said and there's some decent backing to the idea he was meant to be or will be a permanent party member. Something tells me though that if Akechi and Sae are made into actually confident links they'll have to rework the whole interrogation angle.
From some of these voice lines, it seems like Akechi was going to actually be a character you could get since he notes the weather and other unused voice lines.
