I got 6 pairs of these on the black Friday sale last week and they’re great. My only complaint for William is the amount of emails you receive after you place an order. I think he needs to work one that but the socks are amazing!
My problem is hole in sock after handful of wears. $20 J Crew socks set the record, forming holes on sole in three normal wears. Another highly recommended sock on Amazon of partial wool failed at about 25 wears. Darn Tough have held up so far.
You know you’re supposed to wear shoes with your socks when you go out, right? I call bullshit. It’s astronomically improbable for wool blended material to wear down after only a few wears over foam or smooth leather insoles, unless you’re doing something extremely wrong, or pulling them so tight to deliberately tear them.
I wouldn't report it if it were not true. Shocked me, too. The J. Crews were on sale, so maybe they were flawed seconds? I wore them on an Alpine hike for a few hours wearing fairly new Nick's boots so maybe that overwhelmed a sock designed for lighter wear. @@LastNineBreaker
Ih ave these socks (and others that are similar) and find these particularly hard to pull on - they are very tight and difficult to put on compared to others.
Another example of a company not making proper sizes for smaller feet. My 7.5 foot doesn't need a sock that goes to an 11. Darn Tough medium is a way better fit.
Thanks for this feedback I’ll pass it along to William. I can tell you the standard large fits my foot (9 brannock) very well, I probably should have touched on that more in the video but in a general sense I think the large size would work for a smaller foot especially if you ran them thru the dryer once or twice 😎
@@worksocks I love your socks, but hate your emails. You email me more than my babys mom. Keep making good products and I will keep buying them. Thank you for the socks though! They have indeed surprised me, and I will be buying more!
“Even the sheep that they use are American.” Fack yeah! Lol…I’m always looking for socks. Currently using Darn Tough socks. I’ll give these a try too👍🏼
I'm a big fan of Darn Tough hiking socks. I have switched to Camel City Mills for 2 reasons, the cushioning and for their compression in the socks. I'm on my feet all day and I don't have good circulation in my legs. The Camel City socks are slightly better than Darn Tough.
I’ve recently discovered these through bootspy. Ordered some and they really are another level. Very good socks. I recommend light weight unless you’re trying to fit into an oversized boot.

This I agree with. I ordered some last night after watching another Dale's video and I have received 5 emails in 24 hours.

Sizing with socks can be tricky! Maybe try a size up next time if possible? I have this issue with many of my jcrew socks
I currently use darn tough hiking socks. Do you own any of them? Theyre more mid weight. How do these compare?
I hear lots of good things about darn tough hiking socks , I’ve never owned any, but I’ll order some and do a comparison 😎

We're working on this right now - our next shipment will have mediums in it that will work for you
