I’ve just bought 2 suitcases from an auction and I’d imagined adding some wood to the inside for the legs… so thank you both very much for sharing how you’ve done your suitcases ❤ brilliant..
I have three vintage suitcases. You crushed it. Now I'm feeling guilty like I need to redo mine as well. You and Chris always put so much care into the work that you do. I know that you are a godly woman and it reflects in the work you do. Do everything as though you do it unto the Lord. Thank you
I like your idea to make your suitcases very sturdy. You two not only make beautiful items, you do honest work & I would not be afraid to buy anything from you.
Hello! I just watched your video about the suitcase tables. My husband collects vintage maps, and i have an old suitcase that i was planning on making into a table. I am going to cut up some of his old maps and decoupage them onto the outside of the suitcase! So glad you included the link for the legs, because i wasn't sure where to find some. Thank you for the inspiration!
You have inspired me to take on a similar project. I want to buy a lighter blue Samsonite train case like the one I had in the early 60's to make as either an accent or bedside table. I would like to store makeup in it and use the mirror in it when applying the makeup
Those turned out fantastic! I would have taken one sniff and PASSED! Have you thought about adding orange oil to the inside, to give it a positive scent?
Yvonne….THIS ARE FABULOUS…. Truly fabulous ! I love the paint colors…the Rub-N-Buff was perfect for the hardware….then those legs ! I say you picked the perfect style leg for them. Wood I don’t think would have looked right….JUST PERFECT all the way around ! Then the accents on them…..lady you are GOOD ! I think I’m watching this again…so enjoyed it all! I am SO EXCITED ABOUT THESE ! I can’t wait for you to tell us how people respond to them in your Booth ! Feel better…🙏. EXCELLENT EXCELLENT SAVE ON THESE !!!! You too Chris 👍 🌞🌞🌞🙏🙏🙏🌞🌞🌞
You were so in tune with the spiritual vibe because my husband is working with a bunch of old suitcases and he is having trouble coming up with some clever ideas!! You are just what he needed to move ahead with his projects!! I learn so much from you for my own crafting. Thank you for sharing your talent and spirit! God Bless!!
WOW! WOW! These two are gorgeous. I could not pick only one. The colors are amazing. Thankful you were able to find these. You have amazing talent and a great eye for style and color. The finishes inside are perfect. Great idea for new hinges and one to hold it up. Thank you.
GREAT Job !!! I think they both look fabulous !! You and your husband put so much work into every project y'all do...whoever gets these, they are really get a great item!
Love, love, love old suitcases. What you did with these is just divine. I have simply stadied mine in different rooms and use them as storage. The only one I have ever painted was a blue one from the set I received as a graduation gift in 1973. I collect train cases and use them to hold different categories of craft supplies.
You did an awesome job on the suitcases! Thank the Lord that he heard your request for two! I have two and you have inspired me to try and makeover mine! Thx ☺️
They both look great, you did a wonderful job! I love vintage suitcases myself, I have one that I use to display some items in my booth for a craft show I do in October. Yours turned out great! ❤️
These have got to be some of the most drastic transformations y’all have done! And oh my goodness what a fabulous job y’all did! The are not recognizable!! Both suitcases are absolutely beautiful and gorgeous as end tables. The work that went into them really shows an awesome job well done!!!
I love vintage suitcases! I’ve collected a few in my day and had to downsize when we moved but I still have 4 of my most loved. I love how you reinvented the ones you found! Thank you for taking us along on your journey💚
Oh my I think these came out beautiful I collect them but I have just done the inside never have attempted the outside of them they were gorgeous!!!❤❤❤God Bless you and yours!!!
You did such a good job on the suitcases. That is one thing I’ve been wanting to do also because it looks like it be so much fun. I’m glad I had a chance to see how you did yours so now I have a better idea how to tackle one. And I was also wondering if it would be cost-effective to re-do the inside with material. So I think I’m gonna do it your way and just remove it and clean it up. Also good idea to put that piece of wood in there to make it more sturdy. Great job as usual.
😲 WOW..those are so gorgeous...You are amazing..you have been blessed with a very special gift..you are very talented.☺️☺️ I have very old trunks and suit cases from my grandparents..I just turned 50..I so want to do this..if you have any ideas for very old trunks.. would love to see what you come up with 🤗
I have several suitcases but they belonged to my husband and his father. I can't imagine selling them. But I do think it would be cute to make them into side tables. Thanks for the inspiration.
I grew up antique shopping with my parents when things were cheap. How things have changed. I have always repurposed or recycled old vintage and antique pieces. Now I’m just starting in a different direction taking it a little bit more serious so that I’m able to sell and please other people beside myself. I am telling you this because I have learned so much from you and your husband on how you do things how you approach things just you’re cleaning and setting up and just trying to make everything perfect. I really have learned and continue to learn your way of handling your business and I very much want to handle it the same way. Thank you so much for your continued interest in others and just giving out as much information as possible. And I love your Attention to detail. I hope one day I’n able to take a trip and come out to your shop and see things in person. Again thank you and I will continue to watch and share information that you have shared with me.
They came out nice. I was hopping you would do your black and white and and some flowers or something spring looking. I so miss going to Menards 💞 we don't have them in the east 😢
I had just purchased a suitcase from a thrift shop when traveling in Florida for 2.00. They had 6 suitcases but I only bought one as I wasn't sure what to do with it. Now I do. Thanks for posting.
Yvonne, these are gorgeous! I thought so even without the embellishments. And the hairpin legs are perfect for them. I have a train case that I want to makeover to store some fabric in, so this video was a tremendous help for that. Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful work, Yvonne and Chris. Your attention to detail and high standards are what success is built on!
What is best about their work is the high standard of craftsmanship.
What an astounding concept: making a side table from a suitcase! You are so creative! I hope they sell for you.
I love how these both turned out. You put so much work and detail into your pieces. They’re gorgeous. Thanks Yvonne

I love everything that you guys do! The extra steps that you take makes everything just perfect.
I love this! The suitcases look so nice.
Love the nostalgia of old vintage suitcases. You did an amazing job!
Beautiful.....I have the suitcase set my folks used from the 40's or 50's with the matching cosmetic case. Will never let them go!
These suitcases are sooooo sweet! Great job!
Wow! Beautiful! I really love how these turned out! You guys did an amazing job on those suitcases!! Thank you so much for sharing!!
Those came out great! You could also use the IOD exploration transfers on them. Cost you more than the tissue paper decoupage but less time consuming.
Love the suitcase.
Might have to do a suitcase next !!😊
These were really nice! I think it’s the best transformation of a suitcase that I have seen.
I had just purchased a suitcase from a thrift shop when traveling in Florida for 2.00. They had 6 suitcases but I only bought one as I wasn't sure what to do with it. Now I do. Thanks for posting.
