- This video is a special interest video and not the normal thing I post on my RUclips channel. Medieval Madness Pinball Machine is the number one rated game of all time and was released in 1997 and release just over 4000 units. They are becoming very hard to find nowadays. Planetary Pinball Co. decided to secure the rights to it and remake it with today technology and re-release it as "Medieval Madness Remake”. I decided to purchase one and I received it yesterday. Those of you are interested in pinball or want to learn about a quirky habit I have, check it out. Those of you who came to this channel for hypnosis videos, then you might want to skip this one. Just a heads up. Enjoy.

Hi there,I only just got my Medieval Madness pinball machine delivered just before xmas, only just set it up on Friday, love playing it, great game, I am located in Brisbane Australia. Great video by the way.
This pinball table is on The Pinball Arcade and it plays like the original table and the remake. Also there's is a Bride of Pin*Bot remake with the original rom and the remake that has animation. This pinball machine was made at Stern for Planetary Pinball
On the what pin collectors call the " Lower end pin machines " I recently bought a Lethal Weapon 3 and I'm astonished at the number of modes this machine has!!!! If anyone is working with a limited budget and wants a super awesome pin I highly suggest picking one of these up, because you can get them under $1500 to $1000 and I promise you'll find new challenges every week. Just a suggestion on a very underrated pinball machine!

Does anyone know if its possible to replace the LCD with an LED DMD? Or is it designed to only work with the LCD? I don't care much for LCD screens, I prefer the traditional plasma DMD or an LED DMD, they are more crisp and pleasing to the eye

You should try Jersey Jacks Wizard of OZ pinball.
Medieval Madness is expensive for a pinball machine. But, its replay value is 2nd to none and that's why. I always wanted one but, the price.. uff. =P I am still trying to get a good Space Shuttle locally though and I would like to get a good Twilight Zone too but, its a huge fan favorite and also hard to come by it seems. I love Pinball and glad to see you're family loves it as well. The remake looks perfect I hope it brings you all many hours of fun. =D

You can buy a full color dmd for medieval madness. I just went to a convention where the rep was selling them.

Ivansky1 Haven’t been at it very long at all. Medieval Madness is pretty dang good.
Now that you have had MM for a few months are any of the errors that people are having coming up? Lights re-set mid game? Stuck or slow flipper? Sound crashes or cracks? Stuck balls? Anything like that?

The new Medieval Madness Pinball looks awesome with the leds, but why didn't they do more with the color display, really don't like the green on this cabinet :(

Hey Marc, nice lineup of machines you've got there, and it's good that your girls like to play them.
I'm a pinball fan and collector over in Nottingham, Robin Hood country :-) MM is one of my fave games and they have been shooting up in price - supply and demand of course - so hopefully this will make prices a little more realistic.
You've got an original Monster Bash next to it - how does MM 'feel' compared to MB? What about the flippers - one of the best bits of a well set-up WMS machine - are they the same kind of response do you think?
Finally did you get that left flipper aligned? Your wife spotted it straight away ;-)
+Spike Photography Yes. Left flipper is now aligned. :) I love the MMR, its is a great and fun pin. But, it is hard to beat Monster Bash. MB has got to be one of my favorite games and I think it should be rated higher than MM. But then again, what do I know, right?!

Medieval Madness is definitely #1! There's a lot of great machines at the Pinball Hall of Fame here in Vegas.

Why is the DMD green?
Isn't it supposed to be orange?
Its green by default, but you can change it to orange in the settings. Theres even an upgrade kit to make it have full color graphics
