Fults Hill Prairie Nature Preserve 50th Anniversary Celebration

Fults Hill Prairie Nature Preserve became the 30th nature preserve in Illinois and the first in Monroe County in October 1970. This celebration was delayed for one year because of Covid, but it just made this gathering that much more special. Debbie Newman (Natural Areas Preservation Specialist, INPC) served as MC and she introduced speakers Chris Young (ORC Director, IDNR), Phil Borsdorf (current Heritage Biologist, IDNR), Pen DauBach (Illinois Nature Preserves Commissioner), Amy Doll (Executive Director, Friends of Illinois Nature Preserves) and Chris Collins (National Park Service).
