I used to clean like this, now over the years to remove excess dust I use an air compressor, and to remove the remains of water from the circuits I also use the compressor, it's faster than using a hair dryer, and without the risk of overheat any heat-sensitive area. You removed the power supply box incorrectly, it opened as if we did it with a furniture drawer. Otherwise, perfect job.
I wash everything into the shower with soap and plenty of water, even the PSU. I dry them with hot air and let them several days to even more natural drying. Never had issues. They are 100% clean after that, no smell, nothing, 'brand new'.
Nice restoration. I love seeing these old computers being brought back to life. I have one that is similar..same color blue parts that can be removed from the case.
Ima puno ovih starih socket 462 mašina ? Predlog za sledeći projekat, da napraviš jednu retro mašinicu sa windows 98 SE . Možeš koristiti ovu amd platformu ili čak i pentium 3/4 . Mada se teško nalaze ove pentium 3 mašine posebno slot 1 konfiguracije i socket 370 . Ja sam sastavio jednu pentium 3 mašinicu i uspeo sam da nabavim 3dfx voodoo 3 2000 agp :)
Biće uskoro... počeo sam da snimam restauraciju pentium trojke. Celeron 1,2Ghz (Tualatin) sa sve SD Ramom i AGP 4x medjutim tokom snimanja se ispostavilo da je ploča neispravna ☹Tražim kompatibilnu ispravnu ploču...
@@nemanjanedeljkovic5805 ako je na ploči otišao neki kodenzator , to se lako zameni ... mada su ove socket 370 ploče koje podržavaju tualatin jezgro ređe . Možeš ih naći kod ovih što se bave reciklažom elektronskog otpada ...
Socket A "retro" shit is not even that old to be seen as retro... 😀 I've had full box if these shitty motherboards and I recycled them all. Now I have full box of socket 7 motherboards to test. Retro is something from longer past, like socket 7, 5, 3, some 386 computers or even older machines like IBM 5160 or so, but you feed youtube with these shitz. Only noob can consider this "retro".
