An elderly woman reflects on an old romance… maybe one that failed, but was vividly the best time of her life… my thoughts as I listened to this song. A young couple meet and fall in love in the beautiful Austrian city of Vienna, maybe students who had to break it off after a heated summer romance?
I am so excited to share this big, cinematic, romantic music video to complement Eder's "Gold". This is my first attempt at making a narrative video that is made entirely from licensed stock video sources! I found this whole set of clips from two young lovers in what looks like Vienna,, a bunch of Viennese city scapes, one uke, a music box on keys from GBand, and a voice from AI reminiscent of a certain pop singer you can probably guess.
It isn't perfect but it's got weeks and weeks of work in it and in the end here, a whole lotta passion for this big beast of a song.
And as to the protean talent of the amazing Linda Eder and writers Frank Wildhorn and Gary Benson, this is quite the song! And really only Ms. Eder can really do it justice!
