Came out good man, but you need to change the caption of the video from (52 years - 52 movies) to 52 years - 700 movies!

This is the best video you’ve ever created, Alan! EXCELLENT WORK, my friend! This video is funny, heartfelt, and had a ton of insightful moments where you broke down the films that you love! You’ve had one hell of a life so far, buddy! I can’t wait for you to continue this series for years to come! 🤘

I love Clint Eastwood too. I haven’t seen Dirty Harry yet. Deliverance is definitely a classic. My dad turned me onto that one a few years ago. Not having First Blood on your list is a shocker. That one hurts a little. Don’t apologize for being a huge Rocky fan. I just watched Back To The Future for the first time last year and loved it. You can’t go wrong with Road House. I can’t wait to get my copy in from Vinegar Syndrome. Unforgiven is a great movie. I love that steelbook. I love everything you said about that movie and that year in your life. A movie is such a great escape. I love when you experience such a great movie that you get lost in. It’s a perfect reminder of why I fell in love with movies. I still need to see Tombstone. It’s been recommended to me multiple times. I think it’s time I finally get around to watching it. I love Armageddon. I remember that theatrical experience very well with my dad. Cast Away is a masterpiece. I absolutely loved that movie. That ending is so incredibly powerful. I’m hoping to do a deeper dive on Cast Away for a livestream. I’ll definitely need to get you on that. Joy Ride was another great theater experience. I saw that one at the Mall Of America with my mom and dad. Saw was also a fun theater experience. I saw that one with my dad in theaters too. You’re making me emotional here. The way you started seeing movies in theaters with your oldest son reminds me so much of all the memories I had with my dad. I miss those days. I only get to the theater a few times a year with my dad now. I did take him to see Scream 5 last year. That was fun. I’m so glad to see Warrior pulled. I’m took my dad to go see that movie for his bachelor party. We both loved that movie. It’s one of my favorite movies of all time. I loved Creed as well. That’s another one I remember seeing in theaters with my dad. A Quiet Place is one of my favorite horror movies of all time. I remember seeing that at home by myself on my birthday and loving every second of it. Nobody was such an awesome movie. It came out of nowhere for me. I ended up showing it to my dad and he loved it too.
Your wife sounds like an incredibly selfless woman. I’m sorry she had to go through so much in such a short span. The loss of a parent is not easy for anyone to have to deal with.
I really appreciate you taking the time to make a video like this. I enjoyed hearing about different events in your life. You gave great advice. It’s crazy to see where you started and where you are now. My relationship with my dad seems similar to yours with your oldest son. The story about your son asking you to be his best man is so awesome. My dad asked me to be his best man for his second marriage. That was an amazing experience. No matter how close my dad and I are or aren’t we’re always there for one another. And we always have a good time together.
That sounds like such a cool experience to have the honor of marrying someone. That’s amazing.
I loved this video so much. Thanks again for taking the time to give us the opportunity to get to know you better. You were very personal and honest. I respect this so much. Good luck in future years to come.

This is a great video...I love how you describe the way movies have intertwined with your life...both good and bad and how movies have provided you with a bond to your family and friends and also as an escape too when times were rough...that's how movies are for me aswell and since watching this video I've decided to pick my favourite movies from every year of my life too

Cool stuff man! I've been looking forward to seeing this video and comparing your choices to mine, since we're the same age. I suspect we have a lot of similar picks (like Dirty Harry, 1971). Admittedly, I'll probably have to watch this in stages... I doubt I can get through this in one sitting. But I appreciate you doing this man. This video must've taken a long time for you to put together. I know mine did, and it wasn't anywhere near as long.
