As someone who has been around simming practically since the days of wireframe scenery, I am amazed as to the expectations of even the most casual flier, from nuances in performance to the quality of seat textures. And so it goes. BTW, great videos.
So when adjusting the mixture on a constant speed prop, you would hardly see a change in RPM because it is, well a constant speed prop. What you should look for is a rise in EGT ( exhaust gas pressure ). Then set lean of peak EGT or rich of peak EGT.
i am having trouble taking off. it doesn't lift off until 100 knots and i really have to pull up hard. what am i doing wrong. i did not use flaps. it looks like i setup as you just demo'ed but i must be missing something. any advice.
Bonanza, my favorite GA, and I agree with your assessment. Things will get better, this next-gen sim is only a few weeks old. Let's support it and encourage it, it has a great future.
I’m having issues with the bonanza and the other high performance ga. After take off they roll from one side to the other like they are snap roll from a stall but no stall. I thought it was ms way of simulating turbulence but I don’t fly them because it’s so bad. The 172 and 152 fly great. I did delete and reinstall the sim but the sAme issue. I reinstalled before I new what was causing my stuttering but turned out the software for my motion platform was causing it. The problem is on ms end.
I’m so glad you mentioned the turning radius on the G36 cause i was seriously doubting this plane turns that wide. I absolutely love the airframe, but sometimes the turning radius can be a bit annoying.
Thanks for this video, I was going crazy thinking I'm missing something silly with aircraft controls because I was struggling to push past 120-130 kt in level flight. Turns out I'm sane and they just butchered this plane. Unfortunate, as apart form that issue I think this is my favourite prop aircraft in the base game. Hopefully it'll get fixed soon.
I got the latest update for MSFS 2020 that was released December 3rd and the Beechcraft Bonanza doesn't fly anything like the real aircraft, the biggest issue is the elevator control, it's too sensitive for this aircraft, but it's fine for the Cessna 172 Skyhawk and other aircraft that are flyable right now. Microsoft and Asobo still have a long way to go before all the issues are corrected. About the only thing they got right was the realism of the scenery so I'll give them credit for that, in the meantime I'll stay with X-Plane 11.50, it doesn't have the "eye candy" but at least the simulator is mature.
The Community BE36 is incredible. I highly recommend checking it out: ruclips.net/video/cuUEt5FO_M4/видео.html It flies (especially lands) really, really close to the real plane.
Yea the rudder really sucks. I've mowed the grass a few times. It just couldn't be helped. Especially on runways that you have to turn around and there's no taxiway. As far as the Prop/mixture/fuel I've never flown an actual aircraft and it should be immediately obvious to even moderately experienced simmers that those controls just don't operate right. It's definitely pretty whacky. I also noticed immediately that the fuel mixture does basically nothing. Right now I've just been flying it with the throttle/mixture as a single power setting. I like flying it and landing it though. Do wish they would work on it. It at least has a good view inside the cockpit. Good video. Thanks for the insight.
It’s really a shame because visually this sim is stunning but the flight model and if I’m honest, the whole user interface/ experience don’t hold up imho.

I have been fully obsessed with this mod...I can't stop flying it. It is the closest plane to the real thing I think I've ever experienced in a sim. It lands just like the real plane. Nice job!
So im not insane, it is underpowered. I have this plane on fseconomy and i love it, but now its just costing me more fuel and time between jobs. I looked up the poh for the a36, at 7000 ft, 2500 rpm full throttle it should have 19 in pressure use 13.5 gph fuel and have 162ish kts true airspeed. The g36 in game has it all correct but goes 135-140 kts tas. Thank you, ive been looking for a video to confirm this. Also where can i find a fix?
They made the engine model a 4-cylinder....it's way off. Those speeds sound pretty close. It'll do 176 straight and level. You have to put it into a dive to get that here. No fix that I've confirmed does the trick yet.
@@Bill4LE found this mod, tried it for 10 mins and it seems to fix it. forums.flightsimulator.com/t/g36-fixes-and-improvements-update-06-09/216094 Have fun

Thanks so much, John! I appreciate it! :)

It'd be great if any of that worked in the sim! I need my complex ASAP lol
The line of Bonanza aircraft have always been the gold standard. A36 is so sweet.
Ya the A36 airframe is awesome

It really should be flying by the mid-70s but I'm just not surprised when a plane does something wrong in this sim.

The dynamics on these planes are really really far off. I'm just sticking to the planes that work somewhat and waiting for updates and new planes.
Thanks for your honest experienced review. Very good to be a critic as it will make the development better! Thanks again
Thanks so much for watching and the comment! I appreciate it!
You didn’t get any few flow during priming because the throttle was at idle. I think you go full throttle in the bonanza when priming
The Bonanza is full throttle for priming, you're right.
How did you change the manifold pressure at 16:11 ? - love this video.
Manifold pressure is controlled by the throttle
I’m so glad you mentioned the turning radius on the G36 cause i was seriously doubting this plane turns that wide. I absolutely love the airframe, but sometimes the turning radius can be a bit annoying.
IMO it's the best GA plane ever!
i tried flaps and that corrected lift off at 76 knots. with no wind it would not lift off til 106knots.
haha yikes...fingers crossed it gets fixed properly!
at this time , did they fix the airspeed on this. i just started flying this. if i remember i did not go faster than about 136 knots
There are some community fixes for it really doesn't go all the way to fix the performance.
How can I get the g36? I can’t find it on my list
It's part of the Premium version of the sim.
@@Bill4LE I have the Deluxe premium. It’s showing B36

I thought the same thing at first! Nope....just broken! Haha. Fingers crossed they fix it quickly
Thanks for this, I was wondering why it seemed so slow.
Ya you're loosing it like I thought I was :) it's insane. So broken.
How do you check the fuel gauge?
The fuel is viewable in the MFD on the G1000.
Thanks, looking forward to a fix. In the meantime, I'll feel justified in hitting time warp :)
hahah yes, indeed! Time warp is what the Bonanza does best!

You should do a LIVE flight on RUclips
Well he does it on Twitch all the time
Andrik! Ya man, join live on Twitch! It's a lot of fun!
Bill4LE when is your next live stream
Is it available also with normal gauges dashboard (no G1000) ?
Nope..unfortunately. The G36 is the G1000 model. I'd love an A36 add-on at some point.

Thanks, Chris! The community fixes A LOT! It's one of the best feeling GA sim planes I've ever tried.
I’ve noticed the bonanza in fs2020 also feels excessively tail heavy imo.
Ya there is a lot wrong with it. Hopefully some updates or custom settings will come out soon to help.
It’s really a shame because visually this sim is stunning but the flight model and if I’m honest, the whole user interface/ experience don’t hold up imho.
which has better physics, details and realism? mfs2020 or Xplane11?
They both have pluses and minuses. Overall, X-Plane is a more thorough simulation but MSFS super is pretty!
Thanks for reupload, can “enjoy” this “bonanza” now 😏
p.s. I hope they will fix this beauty somehow
I hope they fix it too. It's so sad! I'm glad I got this video to work finally!

They need to fix the cruise speed
It would be nice lol. There are some fixes out there but it's sad that's needed.
Someone else said it doesnt fly as fast at the real one...?...
It's been fixed! The community mod is one of the best flying planes I've used in a sim
Did you advise Asobo to pump it up? Its a new grandpa choice lol
lol the community mod is PERFECT!
There is at least one mod in Nexus which does fix this annoying speed problem
Ya there are a few. Also some easy custom tweaks.

Dude you have AUTO MIXTURE ON in the assists. Why are you talking about mixture when you don't even master the game settings.
All assists are turned off 👍
