It was excerpted in this past weekend’s Sunday Times. Lots of juicy, behind-the-scenes, tidbits about royal life, including the fact that MM was viewed to be very flirtatious with Prince William. Also, someone is quoted as saying that if Harry didn’t have help putting on his pants it would take him 2 weeks to manage it. lol. Think of the voices you could mimic!

Margaret was such an embarassment to most Canadians - especially when we saw the photo of her exiting a car in New York City where her rising dress left little to the imagination. Btw. Margaret is beautiful in photos; but she is even more beautiful when you see her in person.

It's not about the royal family, but Andrew Lownie's book on the 'Cambridge 5' spy Guy Burgess, called "Stalin's Englishman" is jaw-dropping in showing how the establishment looks after their own regardless of the rest of us. Mr Lownie is an excellent writer/researcher and I recommend this audiobook unreservedly.

I found that the Traitor King was so interesting. As far as his giving up the throne and not growing up, we have to remember who he is related to. His father was the second son of the first son of Victoria. She was horrible to him, which wasn't surprising as she was a spoiled brat. When his father married Mary of Teck, she was not his first choice. The eldest son died; thus she decided to just marry the second son. Confused yet? Sorry. I did a deep dive in this whole family almost 20 years ago. Extraordinary!

You need to look at The Kingmaker, the story of Pamela Harriman on her romp through history. There's lots of Democratic shenanigans, which I know you love! But there are shenanigans everywhere Pamela traveled. She is a fascinating lady who went from the English girl in the upper class to the US Ambassador to France

Tina Brown was very pro-Markle. She has now changed her tune. But at the time of Mexit, Tina Brown was saying that the Royal family needed Markle and her "Hollywood glamour." In your dreams Tina. But there are shenanigans everywhere Pamela traveled. She is a fascinating lady who went from the English girl in the upper class to the US Ambassador to France
