Raise a young person as a 1. Confident 2. Take pride in their culture 3. Having growth mindset 4. They’re not interested in ranks 5. Educate them deeply so that even when no one sees them they stick with their faith. **Remember the difference between the Words of shallow impact and deep impact. **Remember the Roots need to be nourished.
How can we raise a confident young person - it’s a massive topic in itself. But I think one can start with these things 1. Listening to your children - giving your time and attention to them. You will come to know what are they feeling and are going through. And they will feel heard and loved. (That’s the big reason behind them to seek attention from outside world and accept their influences). 2. Genuinely be there for them when they need you. If you can’t help in any way, let them know why can’t you help and at least show your love that you are standing behind them no matter what. So that they feel supported. 3. Treat young people as independent grown up persons, not as a child. One meaning of it is that you give them choices to make a decision. Don’t dictate it - do this or that instead make them in command of their decisions by giving them choices. 4. For raising a young confident Muslim - you also have to understand your religion first and its reasoning and knowledge behind it. Then let your children know that as well. Instead of imposing Islamic teachings - give them better understanding of why Islam asks for it - what’s the meaning behind it. 5. Then give them time to process it and come to a conclusion (since you’re treating them as adults) if they want to follow it. If they don’t then you don’t need to get mad and put sanctions on them. You are taking them away from Allah. Just stay there with them, love them despite of them following what you said or not. They will eventually listen to you.
I believe he has once again impacted us with his words such a powerful khuthbah , inshallah ustad will find his way around the youth with his words and lecture keep growing . 加油
This is the subject we need to learn and discuss more about👍 Some parents like me really want to learn how to guide our kids in today's world and help them in becoming a strong believer.
SubhanAllah, only few days ago I had this thought of Ustad Nouman having or making a action plan of Islamic education for the next generations to come. I’m glad he had the same enlightening thought. He is one of the most articulate of Islamic teachers and many will benefit from the knowledge Allah has given him. Hope this comes into actuality with the help and will of Allah. 23:33
May Allah bless this man and all of us who are relearning our deen. Always the best in teaching Quran, mashaAllah ustad. I pray to see you in person listening to your lectures in Shaa Allah
I wish we had guys like him in Europe. In Europe, Muslim youth is toxic, aggressive, spreading the wrong image of Islam. :( we need Imams like you that will help our community here.
Ibrahim was NOT raised by a strong believer. ((Just so people whose parents are not on same page, have hope)) May Allah raise our kids as strong believers and make us strong believers as well.
Much needed thing to talk about but Ustadh please address about people who didn’t got the right guidance, resources and lived their whole life in chaos and drama of their parents and relatives and didn’t develop any skills to survive independently because they’re promised to be helped with their life and they waited and got scammed and now they don’t have enough resources or skills and they’re not mental healthy enough to grow like as mentioned in the Quran 2:273 what would be their way out from the darkness of traumatic, embarrassing memories, feel hesitant in practicing their Deen and the anxiety to fit in the culture and society of their peers that they’re in without knowing to whom and how to ask for help and put their life on a purposed track. Jazakum Allah.
I yesterday finished my 3rd semester written exam , where cheating is wide open.My class mates and other examinee have no shame what their are doing. They are calling it good deed because they are helping each other, not jealous of each other. It's depressing for me I, the one in the hall doing paper honestly would be considered according to my ranking .But Allah SWT is sufficient for me.For me this Khutba is consoling my heart and firming trust on Allah.
It would be good if you add language to your videos 🖤 it would be easier for us to understand English is a little difficult to understand everything, I am Bangladeshi 🇧🇩 love you so much 🕋
Assalamualaikum. 1.Have patience with your child when you want them to learn about something. They will question you. Have open discussions with them, that will make them think about it. 2. If it is possible, be an example of an ideal muslim. Children learn from what they see. Having a strong character and personality will definitely have an impact on your children, too.
BISMILLAH ASSALAMU ALAIKUM I HAVE A QUESTION ,what's the best mosque that I can go pray at in oldbridge nj 08857 and I'm looking to speak learn more Quran in Arabic because I'm fluent in Spanish and English
The things that should help to some extent to nurture the future of our ummah: • Having sabr - Not only for children but with anyone who matters to you and you want them to have changes for the good, be patient. You shud present them with the principles and let them have their say. Give them time and be patient with them. And always be open to discussions as it will increase both the parties in knowledge that's also helpful for our imaan in certain way. • Surround yourself with pious people. It's not possible for everyone, and for those who can have a pious circle, it will be a great help to escalate the growth of a muslim. That doesn't mean you will block other people, no. Be kind, and protect yourselves firmly from things that has a danger of deviating you from the path of righteousness. May Allah guide us.
Can Bayyinah TV upload NAK’s lectures in Apple Podcasts and Spotify? I noticed most of the ‘lectures’ are very short like 5 minutes like that. Podcasts should be a long format of audio. Kindly upload the full version of the lectures. Not the cut version. Just my opinion.
Hi. I am a young muslim and i want to learn more about Islam but I don’t how to start and what to watch or read, which is why i would appreciate if someone could recommend to me:)
Assalamualaikum.. May Allah bless you.Have a translation of the Quran in your language. For a more structured way to learn islam, will be to look upto the different playlists or series of lectures from the renowned sheikhs.

Don’t neglect the 5 daily prayers❕
