A very good analysis! INFJ here married to an ENTJ for almost 11 years 😊. We definitely bonded with Ni and deep long conversations. We're both very very loyal and committed, so in spite of the challenges with emotional needs/awareness we have found a way to meet in the middle. I'm very very attracted to his intelligence and Te way of making things work. It is true that there was a sense on his end of not meeting my needs emotionally but because of the strong loyalty and commitment he cared enough to learn. I also learned what works in regards to expressing my feelings and need, and how to meet his very real emotional needs which are just different from mine. There is definitely, as you pointed out, so much respect for each other and how solid we both are. He is grounding for me, and I am a softening force for him. Our blind spot is the sensory, so we try to farm that out as we can, lol!

Almost the exact situation. Female INFJ married to an ENTJ almost 10 years. My experience is also one of strong commitment. We both happily adjust, learn and grow for and from the other.

Omg this comment really hit home. I’m INFJ and my bf is ENTJ. We have been together four years and this has been our exact experience. Our commitment and respect is so strong and I am extremely attracted to him inside and out. He is working on figuring out how to be more emotionally accommodating which really means a lot. And I’m glad you pointed out accommodating his needs as well because ENTJ emotions can be very complex and sensitive in a way. It’s difficult sometimes but we always find a way through issues and end up being stronger from it. This comment just reaffirmed my belief that we can last so thank you 🥰🥰🥰

Im an infj woman magnetized to an entj man and vise versa. I do know he cannot fulfill me emotionally, he has even said that i need a type of man that’s all lovey dovey. However, I’m so drawn to his intellect, strength and personality and so on. Yet, He’s just so detached from emotion and love.

      Hi @Eyesofanenigmaticsoul,
We can be attracted and admire certain personality traits in a person, but they are a poor match as a long-term romantic partner.
Romantic compatibility is revealed in close daily interactions over many years. Incompatibility often leads to hurt feelings, resentments, unfulfillment , and the dissolution of the couple.

Wow, I was talking to someone about an Entj that I just met and I have mentioned the same thing as how he is emotionally distant and how he is attracted to my infj femininity but I find it hard to connect with him on that level even tho he’s my type in all areas

Femal infj in a relationship with a male Entj. Your note about the spirituality ENTJS often posses was so interesting, and true from what ive seen. As was your analysis for the emotional compatibility between the two. It seems like in cases where emotional immaturity is lacking, its an impossible relationship. There are a lot of strengths and similarity in terms of being solid and loyal

Funny. The one confirmed ENTJ I know was actually a colleague and while we had differences of opinion sometimes, I could easily persuade him to let me do things my way by showing him that by convincing people of a project emotionally can also be efficient. He very much pursued me romantically in the end, but I just knew that my very random, yet slow0 way of living would end up making him unhappy longterm and being pushed would make me unhappy. It was like a skiier loving a glacier.

      Hi Thirst Without Borders,
Thank you for leaving a comment about this video.
This video is about the romantic compatibility between INFJs and ENTJs. You stated that you have a "very random yet slow way of living", which is the opposite of how Judgers organize their lives. It seems that you're probably a Perceiver, and therefore not an INFJ. Can you tell me how your interaction with this one ENTJ relates to the video?

I'm a ENTJ 40 yr old man 4 or so months into dating a INFJ 36yr old woman. We are very much into each other and are checking just about every box that people like yourself talk about. The one big difference is, my wife of 13cyears died last year. We had a roller coaster of a marriage up till the end. To help save our marriage I have been working on developing myself as a partner for about 3-4 years continuly. I saw from the beginning how my current girlfriend was very anxious attachment style. Being secure myself and recognizing this , I could be her rock from the get go. Going through this cycle a handful of times, she has really opened up and fallen for me.
I think this relationship has serious potential. But it wouldn't have been possible as a entj without doing the work and recognizing what emotions she was going through

INFJs (i.e., Jesus Christ & Buddha) are extremely rare because they have a Theta brainwave dominance. Furthermore, INFJs have the healthiest brain of all the 16 MBTI personality types consequently, they wouldn't have a very anxious attachment style.
Moreover, very left-brain dominant personality types such as ENTJs can't meet the emotional and spiritual needs of Feelers, especially FeJs such as INFJs.
Finally, it's difficult for me to comment on your message since I don't know if you're an ENTJ as most people are mistyped.

PS, Thank you for an awesome and informative video. I am a 61 year female INFJ and I deeply admire my new 53 year ENTJ boyfriend so much however… your video was opening my eyes to validate the fact that he does NOT seem to be physically or verbally romantic at all. I thought it was all in my own analysis paralysis brain but I hear this now on your channel and I know I am not crazy.
My love language is physical touch and quality time, I am not getting my needs met by him even though I have asked softly asked verbally and in written form for my needs to be met. I fulfill his need for his love language which are acts of service. I wonder how long this relationship will last without my need for physical touch and quality time not being met. Do you have any solutions for me to explore on how to explain myself better to / for him without sounding like I am complaining for him to understand and fulfill my primary need?

      Hi Solutions4 Tenants,
I'm glad that you found the video very informative.
I advocate that like attract like, especially for long term romantic relationships. It's important to respect people's authentic nature because ultimately, they want to be loved for who they truly are.
Right brain dominant individuals (i.e., INFJs) are naturally more competent at intimate relationships than left brain dominant people (i.e., ENTJs). Therefore, unless you're willing to tolerate for years your partner's lack of physical and verbal romanticism, you may have to reconsider being with him in the long run. Alternatively, you can fulfill your need for affection by other people in your life such as platonic friends and acquaintances.
I trust that this answered your question.
      J.M.

      Hi Helen Ellsworth,
Based on my observations, there's no link between a person's zodiac sign and their MBTI personality (or brain) type. For example, Jesus Christ was most likely an Aries, but most Aries are not INFJs.

Having dated two INFJ men. I do not think the pairing works with an ENTJ women. Maybe if the man is ENTJ. I found the INFJs to be very very manipulative and indirect.

      Hi @nataliemacrelationships,
INFJs (i.e., Jesus Christ & Buddha) are extremely rare because they have a Theta brainwave dominance. Therefore, it's highly unlikely that the two men you're referring to are INFJs. @@practicalspirituality7447 I am an ENTJ and both of these men are very much INFJs. It is not true that INFJs have the healthiest brain. Not one bit. All types have a spectrum of ‘healthy’. It is very tiring to constantly hear the stereotype that INFJs are akin to saints. That is not true and many people can attest to this. They have the ability to manipulate and will use it if they see a benefit. Hitler was also an INFJ. When INFJs have an idea that something is the ‘best way to do something’ they will do anything they can to get that outcome. Sometimes for good and also for bad if they believe it is the way it should be. I suggest you study the infj dark side in more detail and stop using the blanket explaination ‘they have been mistyped’. Also as an ENTj we are often told we lack empathy. My friends often tell me I have too much empathy (incidentally they are mostly F types). Just because someone has F in their type does not mean they are truly kind and caring it means they make decisions using emotion over logic and as we all know emotions are not always kind or caring.
