When watching the film, I could swear that Sturges has a cameo in it, and that is carry luggage behind the four major characters in what I guess is the yacht club. Though I have not seen anything mentioning it.
Stupenda pellicola, certo non è chissà che cosa ma comunque è piacevole da seguire, c è un errore cioè Gerarda è indicata come "alta", "dai capelli scuri" e "con le gambe lunghe". È bassa, bionda e con una gamba piuttosto corta della media, quindi stupenda e stupenda per me come valutazione è 8.
The ending is easy enough to explain on its own. McCrea and Colbert reveal that they both have identical twins, which means Valee and Astor both get to marry one after all. But McCrea remarks "That's how this all started, us being twins..." and as far as I can tell what happened was that the *other* McCrea and Colbert were set to be married, but both their twins (our couple) got jealous and independently infiltrated the wedding posing as their doubles, and ended up married to the sibling of the person they thought they were marrying. Who's who in the final shot is anybody's guess...
Preston Sturges got away with some words that I’ve never heard said in movies made during the ‘40s in this movie: “You’re making an ass of yourself” “Officer, this man is trying to molest me” “You dumb cluck!”

Can someone explain the ending to me and how it relates to the opening. I was pretty confused. Great movie, though!
