We need someone to organise a European scooter cannonball, I'd love to take part in that. I just ordered my first scooter, a SYM ADX 125 after watching you rave about them, the more I watched you ride it the more I liked it.
@@QuasiMotard at this rate I would buy a scooter and keep it with you in the states and you would buy one in Europe and keep it with me here so we can do these events, not a bad problem to have! 😂😂
Back in the 60s there was a Vespa windshield made of plastic but with a glass insert and a thumb operated windshield wiper. It worked great in the rain.
Hi Alex, thanks again for the maxsym 400 content, actually i went to my dealer, and buying one now. There is no testbike on it here, but depending on what i see from your wideos, i think i made nothing wrong. (i hope). Funny is i had the same kind of mods in my mind for this, to make it a bit techi, and silent. I was talking with the dealer/importer here in HU. about the adx TG, but they ment the pricing will go here in direction of the TL, and he told here it will be end of summer. So i decided it will not be the adx, but the maxsym 400. Dealer asked me how i knew about that the tg is coming to Europe, told him i folow a Romanian guy, because of the scooter reviews and the infos i get what i real need, not the normal bike mag reviews. Then he told, ah you mean Alex, we rode with him at the test in Greece. /how cool/ Only thing i am not so happy with the maxsym that there are basically no aftermarket tuning parts like vario clutch etc, but maybe it does not need this stuf. I was also checking the Zontes bikes the new E and D, but i am a bit afraid about the high compression engines, i have some experience with such from my scooter racing past, and i think they will eat up chrankshaft rod bearings faster then normal scooters. How ever thanks again for the maxsym 400 content!!
With zontes it's a bit of a risk now because they don't have history at the moment, only time will tell. For now my 350E curently has 10.000km and no problems. You made a solid choice with the maxsym 400
Alex, i have a the brand new ADX 125 at home now. Since a few days. I am in the proces of mounting heated grips, hand guards and bar-end mirrors. Insurance is ready tomorrow. I am waiting foor extra lights, other brake handles and a place for luggage on the rear which is an original Sym one. Then is will change the angle of the windshield to make space for 2 gps units.
@@RideWithAlex I have build several Dakar (rally) motorcycles int he past. Once you do that, your instantly addicted. The ADX is the scooter version of a rally bike. Certainly with that big fuel tank. I had several motorcycles and scooters in my list for my new ride. Among the scooter was the Yamaha T-max and the Suzuki AN-650 Burgman. The Burgman was opted out because of a notorious and expensive 50.000 - 60.000 km CVT probleem. I did not have the budget to buy a new one and it is not even new available anymore. My goal was to not replace the Husqvarna 610 supermoto. So i went for the opposite and this time let fuel consumption be a part of the decision. The Burgman takes 20 liter to the kilometer so that was also a reason to move away from the Burgman 650. It was mainly your channel and videos about the Sym ADX 125 that made me decide to go for it. And a new one was in the budget limits. And now it fall victim to my rally disease. Its future use will be max 90km/h long distance trips. I have plans to make a video about the semi rally build of the ADX, but not on this account and probably not even on youtube as i highly dislike the political way google/youtue has chosen. My sidecar motorcross channel also has been moved about a year ago. I am not allowed to mention that video platform by the youtube rules and now you have it why i move out of here.
@@RideWithAlex I bought Adx 125 after watching your video. I am very pleased. My only problem is that it is not very powerful since it is 125cc. For this reason, I am thinking of purchasing Adx 300. I'm looking forward to your video.

It's a lot of work to organize an European cannonball but in the future who knows. :))
Count me in... I'd fly over the pond for that event! 😉👍 --QM

Always appreciate your presentation of new products available for scooter owners to upgrade their units, it’s great! Best, Rola (Oregon / USA)
Looking forward to the build video, it looks like you had a lot to do!
About 7-8 hours of total work
Great config 👍🏼
Thanks 😁

Thank you! 😁
Hello there Alex!
Great S-DIY (scooter diy) video.😅
We need more of these too.
I like the sound of the maxsym 400.
Be bad.😊
Thank you, more will come when I get more projects on my hand.
Great job man!
Thank you! 😁
I just saw it yesterday in Google, and it looked way cooler than I thought.
Can I buy one in Macedonia? I really love the design and style of it.
See if you have the maxsym 400 at your local dealer and then modify it to bring it to this spec :)
In Macedonia you can find anything you want.
Now we need to know if the Sym GT is better than the Zontes 350E as a cruiser 😁
For long distance I still prefer the position on my 350E, it just works better for me.
@RideWithAlex thank you Alex! 👍
Hi, when will the ADX 300 long usage video be released?
When I get to ride it long distance, still no registered unit I can test ride.
