New to this canary channel..I have a female canary she has had 3 sets of babies. .she wants to have more .is it too many for her.she keeps wanting to lay eggs .I have removed male but there next to each other and chump if he doesn’t see her.it’s been about 3months since her last baby’s.I hope the new orange and yellow canary’s will do well with the male today, so far so good..added nesting to cage ..
Hi there , good start except for the first pair. I had this case à feu years ago with one of my femelle . She did the nest ...lay in all day long ...no egg. The problem ws that she was not ready ...and she was not in expected shape . Nothing that I could see or discover ...tried more calcium, change male ... no change at all . She died juste before the moulting season . She was ill in fact but With not showing évidences. To me i will separate the birds , take out nest , wait one or two weeks , adding calcium , E vitamines ...and relaunch a cycle ...put the nest , materials , see behaviour if she did well , nest in good progress...enter male ...cheers
Could be the hen bird is too young ! The fact that she’s made a nest if she’s immature you won’t get any eggs assuming she’s a young hen good luck just subscribed to your channel

Normally when the pair are in top condition the cock bird starts to feed the hen
