They are vindictive...unless filmed they could accuse you of anything.
@Google Hater Got evidence then...and that's if they haven't confiscated it and broke it or deleted the footage.
Always film the Police. Any incriminating video evidence controlled by the Police, and against the Police or someone supported by the Police, may be destroyed.
Even when filmed lol. I had my phone taken as "evidence" when I was attempting to stop the police from harassing me. I got it back a year later, totally destroyed. it had pretty obviously been thrown on the floor and stamped on when they couldnt brute force my password and encryption.

They never do!
It makes my blood boil watching these lying criminals, persistently getting away with abusing the people who are forced to pay their wages.
Who else knew the "I can smell cannabis" line was coming. This guy shouldn't have said a single word to him. Hand over your documents, ask for a producer if your missing something and stay quiet. The police do not want to help you.

One of them tried to drop that line on me at my front door... I literally closed and locked my door... lit a big spliff and went back to what I was doing...
That arrogant smile of glee he gives while abusing this man boils my blood more than anything.
In my view, the worst thing the driver of the vehicle did was to start explaining himself to the officer. Gives the officers the feeling that the driver doesn't know their rights. Show your docs if/ when requested and don't speak to them otherwise.
Meanwhile, my car got vandalised, along with a dozen others on my street, by a group of travellers a couple of years ago, and the police just gave me a reference number and said they were too busy. In other words "Fuck off! We're not interested!!" They're *not* on our side.
Blame the government for making those roving gangs of thugs a "protected class"
@@TheRandomshite123 "Protected class" implying a sort of privilege wouldn't you say?
Some aftershave company needs to bring out a scent that smells like cannabis
It actually exists, its called Black Afgano by Nasomatto
Another prime example of why you should never open your window to them. You’re not legally obligated to open the window as long as you can communicate your details through the glass. Hold your drivers license to the window. The end.
Absolutely correct. I should have mentioned this in the video. Problem is of course they are persistent and will try everything they can to get you to open the window or pass out documents. Nothing obligates you to speak, so yes, you can hold up your documents and any prompts without having to speak or open the window.
@Challenge The Corrupt System woah. I'm pretty sure the person should be fine with recording that. Legally. That's got to be a clear abuse of authority. Glad you made it out of there just fine, false positives are a problem with these breathalyzers.

I smell cannabis...funny how he didn't mention that for a good few minutes...
I used to get that continuously. Funniest one was the day I picked up a car. I had had it less than twenty minutes, still driving home, didn't even smoke tobacco then. I did have dreads.
The car in question we had just picked up was still registered to the Chief Constable...

im pretty sure that police 'training' consists of repeating the phrases "I smell cannabis" "there have been burglaries in the area" "due to the current climate"
This is where my hatred for the police comes from, as they did this to me as a 15 year old boy - Saying there's been burglaries in the area & i matched the description, roughed me up stripped searched me in back of their van, and was subjected to verbal abuse. still traumatised to this day.
@@zackbizz7284 sorry about that man, hope you're doing better after that awful experience. Every dog has his day, they've got theirs to find written up their bums when they finally get what's coming to them when they make one wrong call.
I've always been exceedingly skeptical of what this training could ever possibly do to prepare these people for this impossible task to access unlimited doughnuts and not starve their subjects of their liberties. Simply irresistible. The country I'm in has had the problem with trigger happy coppers forever, and have made absolute stains out of themselves in recent times especially. There simply isn't enough training given to these people intended to just push out that workforce, the standards of qualifications are equally inadequate, and the power on their hands, even when unarmed are to a great excess. It should be brought into question just how much power whether physical in armaments and equipment, and with their provisions in bending procedure to such great extent. That Police Officer was clearly guilty of racial profiling. It is a great pity he couldn’t have been sanctioned for being arrogant because he arrogance was off the scale…really depressing to see this time and time again . Great to see you helping the public out.
It's comes a hell of a shock when you first encounter an officer lying simply to prosecute you when you've done nothing. I was hugely pro police until I experienced this. I know some honest cops, but the canteen culture means all keep quiet about the bully ones. I also experienced when he couldn't get me on one thing he kept making up another offence. It was a surreal experience, horrible and scary actually as he was clearly going to go through the book of offences until something fabricated would stick. But the truly scary thing is you can be like me and be completely innocent, not even having had a parking ticket in your life, and this can happen to you at any moment. I would never have believed it until it happened to me.
Sad to see u have experienced this. But this is a regular occurrence to young ppl that are not from affluent areas
The sad thing is you would never have believed it until it happened to you.....people have been telling of these experiences for years, but are often dismissed as police haters, or plain and simple liars. Until good people unite to expose these bad cops, nothing will ever change.
What an utter disgrace.
Crimebodge is a key worker and an essential public service! Great work.
It’s crazy that I’m American and I know that Section 163 of The Road Traffic Act is only the right to stop a vehicle and not have them produce no fucking documents

This is exactly why one should film everything .

And what would you have instead of the police? Vigilante groups going around issuing their interpretation of the law? Get rid of the police and you have mayhem, because people won't be held responsible for their actions.

@@tonyhaynes9080
Any similarities you share with the human species is purely by coincidence.
@@tonyhaynes9080 Saying that the only possible form of crime prevention is the currently existing police system, that itself has only existed for a few hundred years, is ignorant at best and blatant copaganda at worst.
It's completely possible to have law enforcement officers who aren't empowered to declare "I smell cannabis" and then do whatever they like to you if you can't answer a trick question.
Simply making it so police officers were on even legal footing with citizens and actually had to provide evidence rather than simply being trusted when they say someone was "acting suspicious" would be a fundamental positive change.
Defunding would make things ten times worse. We need leaders that are willing to train officers better and a system that punishes the corrupt ones we see in these videos. They behave this way because they can.
I think when a cop says I can smell cannabis & don't find any they must be held accountable as you cannot smell something that is not there!

You: I smell bacon
Call a member of public over to smell the car on camera next time
Alas, most people would, understandably, avoid getting involved.
How would that help?
@Darren Harper And you think that 3rd party's opinion would count for anything? Firstly, it assumes that they know what cannabis smells like and secondly their opinion could be biased towards the police so you may have just created a witness against yourself.

I can't help but think if cops could *actually* smell cannabis, they'd search the car immediately. Why wait? They've got the conviction they're after, why go all round the houses and wait plenty of time before mentioning this fact? Heck, any smell of cannabis would be less evident after the car window has been open so long.
