Nations started in the BAY AREA!!!!! I’m from the BAY AREA!!! RICHMOND CA to be exact and I grew up on Nations I love there cheeseburgers
The old one was on 23rd St in Richmond we got one in San Pablo and we got one in El Cerrito all in the BAY AREA
From the Bay as well and I use to eat at the location in Concord. I make a better burger at home.

I live in the Northern California bay area and I’ve been eating Nation’s Giant Hamburgers for decades. I go to the one in Fairfield. My order is a cheeseburger with grilled onions, lettuce, tomato on a wheat bun. Sometimes, depending on how I’m feeling that day, I add bacon and pickles. My brother came out to visit from ATL and he hit Nation’s up about 3 or 4 times during his visit. I love Nation’s 😊
I'm from the Bay Area(Richmond, Ca) I grew up eating Nation's, my order is a cheeseburger well done with grilled onions & regular mayo, fries and a slice of strawberry cheesecake, I'm glad you enjoyed Nation's!!
I'm from Northern California, Nation's is a San Francisco/Oakland Bay Area institution. They are located mostly in the East Bay, but they have a few locations on the Peninsula side and over in the Sacramento and Stockton, CA area. Nation's is a fan favorite with our family. The Bay Area has Nation's and Los Angeles and Southern California has Fat Burger. I'm glad you enjoyed it and thank you for sharing. I'll have to try and find it and grab me something to eat when I'm out that way again. Thank you again for sharing and your review.

Last time I had Nations was at the one in San Pablo & it was everything I needed it to be and more lol. That was like 2 years ago, when I was back home. I'm from Berkeley.
I used to live in the Monterey Bay area in 1977-78. Did not recall having a Nation Burger then. Do you know if they have one in the Pacific Grove Monterey Bay area now? I reside in Michigan area now. Wish there was one here.
You forgot Oakland had one in Jack London Square. The best.

@@AnnaH4R actually I only lived in Pacific Grove for 1 year. My daughter was born there in 1977. Then we moved to Seaside, California. My children's Father was in the army there. I loved the weather there. Beautiful. There was one earthquake eruption while I was there. Very mild though. Have fun at the aquarium !!!

Nations is a Bay Area restaurant dinner style very good burger and pies fries are just ok u have to tell them light on the veggies lol they will put a salad on it 😂
Nations Hamburger is my go to burger. I’m from Richmond CA. and I have yet to find a burger that consistently satisfies my burger cravings. They are located at various locations in the Bay Area. I was in Napa California and after a full day of wine tasting, I passed by a Nations Hamburger spot and my car automatically turned into the driveway. I can’t speak for the fries but if you are looking for a good burger and milkshake with a slice of one of their delicious pie for desert, do yourself a favor and pay Nations a visit.
I now only do flame broiled or grilled burgers. However, if this spot does Miracle Whip, I'll have to roll and check it out. Understand, I am a Miracle Whip connoisseur and have to check this place out for that reason!
I probably skip on the fries.
Pie size is NOT worth 7bucks.
At whataburger, the drink would have been bigger. Burger did look good.
When you took that first bite and i saw that juice drip i said oh yea but when you came back and i saw that big pile of napkins. I knew that was a good burger when that juice run down your arm.
Most fast food is not that great! But to each its own. I prefer eating in good restaurants, but there are a few fast food places that are good (may not be very healthy) - such as Chick-fil-A and Church's Fried Chicken. 😊
I live in the Bay Area and live a few blocks from one! Definitely a solid delicious place for breakfast, burgers, and pies. My favs are a double egger with bacon, onion rings, and pecan pie.

Nation's started in the Bay Area. Very good back when I was growing up. I haven't had one in about 15 years, since I moved to Los Angeles.
I live in California I’ve been eating at Nations for over 40 yrs. They used to use mayo. they changed to Miracle Whip I believe over 20 yrs. ago. I like the lemon meringue pie and yes the crust is delicious. I wish I had the crust recipe🙂 Every few months I get a coupon for buy one get one for a $1.00💜
Pie need to be a bit bigger ,fries need an upgrade
Hi Chef Jeffery, Nations is a bay area staple. Few tips: get grilled onions next time. The cheese cake is the best seller especially the seasonal strawberry cheesecake. the Breakfast is A1 and the grilled cheese is delicious!
From Cali, Nations is decent, coconut cream pie was my favorite. I like In&Out better and it’s cheaper..👍🏾

I really didn't See anything all that Special about the Overall appearance of their hamburgers and french-fries in my actual Opinion ! But mostly all of those Pies really did look Off of the Chain ! I guess they also brought those California expensive lifestyle Prices right along With them all the Way down there to Arlington. 🍔🍟

Thanks for sharing this I live in Dallas but have never heard of this place. I’m not an in and out fan I couldn’t understand the hype. The people were ramping and raving. Before they moved here, they couldn’t wait for them to get here so when they got here I went to have some and I was not impressed at all. I’d rather have a hamburger from snuffers in Dallas. There’s are much better than in and out burgers.

You can have your onions grilled and you can custom order your burger. In California, they use mayonnaise.
Nations chilli is good too. I love their burgers. I used to go to the one next to Jack London Square all the time in Oakland

This looks like the food you used to get at a burger joint. Definitely better than most fast food places, but a tad pricey.

Oh yeah sometimes they overdo with the mayo onion and tomatoes on the burgers. I usually ask for a light amount.

I'm from Indianapolis ppl I know haven't eaten there. In and Out burgers are served with whole onions which aren't bad, I actually get extra onions. I had my mom try House of Pies she said the pies taste like egg yolks😂😂.

I used to live in the Pacific Grove Monterey Bay area years ago. I never heard of Nation Burgers but that was way nack in 1977-78 . They may have them now. Hello, Chef Jeffrey.Twenty One dollars is little too expensive. For a burger, french fries, slice of pie and drink . There is a Nation's Burger in Victoria Texas . I and my daughter . Ate there when it first opened . The burger was delicious and large . The french fries was in a basket . Three people could have ate off of them . And we got a drink .
