Also they are some of the strongest properties in the game as they give you presence on all sides of the board, with two cards that send people straight to them (one for double price) and they have a high payout without requiring development. Enjoy ending your friendships and families as you pummel them in Monopoly.
To be fair the browns and blues are statistically some of the most unlikely squares to hit. At least when you hit a blue monopoly it's almost a 100% guaranteed bankrupt. Still not a great property overall doe.

Dark Blue by itself is kind of a longshot to win, but if you have one other decent monopoly, you lean more towards crushing.
Greens are the worst monopoly to have. They have the lowest probability to be landed on, and cost as much as the dark blues to upgrade, but have a worse payout.

The game is fairly rigged. Played it on Switch a couple of years ago and you can clearly see the patterns. It's kind of like mario party.

It's the most likely set of properties for people to land on. You must have them and if you give them up, don't do it for cheap.

yeah railroads are nice, they don't usually 1 shot anybody but it's a nice stable income + there are chance cards that take you to railroads as well

He upgraded too fast. You don't need to turn them into bankruptcy machines until late game
