Wow I don’t know why this song didn’t become a hit. It sounds like it could’ve been a massive pop success that you’d hear on the radio.

I do. And I'm still waiting... Last single from Keane which I really liked (like nearly all the rest of them since the beginning) was Disconnected, and it was half a decade ago! This one's solo single is not bad IMO, like 2 or 3 more songs on Tom's solo album, it's his voice which does the trick. I might sound boring, but I do miss Tim's written melodies (from the debut up until Strangeland), another thing, I didn't really like Keane's new song for the movie... Though I'm still waiting and believe in Keane like for all the past decade!;)

We don't need all those overly exaggerated extreme videoclips that take over all our abilities to fantasize. Simple clips are art, and Keane have mostly always done that. They enable us to think deeper, feel nostalgic or inspire us to use our imagination and ability to dream of a distant past.
Take SLC, Is it Any Wonder, SOWK, Bad Dream, etc. And also Bedshaped which seems like a perfect expression with the main character breaking free from his misery at some point with everything becoming white light. Top class..

I think by 2017s end they are gonna come back if you mean like promoting/ recording/ performing because lets not forget the soundtrack song they released last September.
***** that song was made by the strangeland era... Also by now i thougth Mt Desolation has release the album too, but there's no sign of Keane returning
+Uziel Thekidmarvel Maybe so and I wonder whats happened to the new Mt Desolation album too there's been no word maybe they've canned it but Radio 2 in England recently hinted at Keane's return soon, plus I believe we could also be seeing The Killers return soon too who are on the same record labels as them.
