As a nightscape photographer I totally relate comment about it's going to be hard getting back in the dark 😂.... But you guys also have to constantly hop back and forward over the rocks to check shots, so much potential to slip if you get careless or rush. Do you use a remote release or have the camera constantly shooting on an intervalometer?
haha yes! Constantly going back and forth to check the results, change the settings and fine tune the composition. I use a wireless remote to trigger my shots, but I only do between 5 and 10 before I crawl my way back to the camera. This is actually quite satisfying and insures a good night of sleep 😂😂
