I do that too when I play Franco. Some games my hook never lands because enemies keep dodging while some games I can perfectly predict hook enemy dashes. We all have bad days and getting flamed and insulted by your team mates really doesn't help.

The 4 practices I use Estes in the game : 1. Use 2nd skill on the bush to provide vision 2. Always ping Ulti ready / not ready (very important) 3. Cast Ulti right away when 70% life left of teammates especially they have one-shot killer / assassin in gank war 4. Use quick chat “on my way / wait for me / you got my back” to inform teammates your support
This is totally me when playing estes... I spam when my ult is ready... try to provide vision. I am using the sprint battle spell cause Estes is slow and can't catch up to fast moving team mates.. I use items to reduce cooldowns... you name it!! I am in lower ranks and the key is to support the 1 hero that is the core of the team and ignore the rest..

@@VenomVenomVenom95 that's definitely very situational, if the enemy roamer is bullying your mm then you should most likely stick with the mm as well unless the mm doesn't understand the concept of poking. there are also times when the jungler is just incredibly smoothbrained that your only hope is babysitting the mm or maybe even the mage if the mm is as smooth as a koala. then there are those times when the gusion jungler thinks roaming is equivalent to babysitting and will throw a tantrum because you're not babysitting their girlfriend layla.
I think if you use Estes, you should use the "Ulti ready/ulti not ready" chat to communicate with your teams. So they know what time it's going to war.
Yea usually playing as support, I always use that feature in case Ult is ready or not for engaging team fights such as Diggie, Camila, Angela, Estes, Floryn or Other kind of support that is capable of

I agree... Rafaela is versatile. She can heal, boost movement speed and can damage and slow enemies (timing is key)... And also really handy if your team mates knew how to utilize her properly.. I met a Roger user in rank, and he played as the core and jungler of the team and he is shouting to use rafa and so I tried, since I am an estes user.. He is a bit aggressive at times that he/she messes up but is willing to compensate for the mistakes.. and still we won... Bonus: he apologizes and never blamed me for anything

When I use Estes: 1. Ping ultimate once fight starts to link up with as many teammates as possible. I disagree with the view where some players ult later when the teammates are alr half dying, coz they prob would die more. We lose numbers early. And I can spam the skill for a 2nd time if fight continues. I waste no time. 2. Skill 2 to harass enemies and get kills esp the low health ones 3. Skill 2 check bushes 4. Stand near your team damage dealers to heal 5. Ping retreat when stuff aren’t looking gd or Estes is abt to run 6. Ping attack to launch fight & encourage fights to continue(esp the lower ranks, players scared scared dont move lols) 7. Rotate around as much as possible to help take down possible kills. If mm plays badly and still does the same throughout, seek potential teammates players.
Actually the only weak-as$ on his team was probably Irithel since all of them knew what to do when they see Estes master baiting. Chou given the fact his oppenent was Lylia was actually fairing quite well even tho he was defeated multiple times. Great vid Betos.
The problem with healer supports like Estes, Rafaela and Floryn is that they're too squishy even tho they build tank items. You can't be in the frontline taking all the dmg from the ennemy because you'll die very easily. When you play a healer support, it's better to have 1-2 strong frontliners in the team so they can soak up some damage for you. Also, positioning matters a lot, as unlike tanks ennemies will most of the time focus on you first. Talking about healer supports, they should buff floryn bcz without that extra item slot she's very squishy and very-LIKE ULTIMATELY easy to kill hero. Her range is short and doesn't account for that, only thing good about her imo is her anti-regen removal ult
floryn is superb , global heal and boosted healing , floryn can hold exp lane on her own ,, just killing minion and spam stun on enemy exp laner while floryn having unlimited hp refill , and ulti used for while teammates in fight depend situation .. this is floryn without roam shoes , emblem heal boost 10% + hp regen boost item + book + cooldown 15% item + .. that is enough .. can even use blade armor + vengeance to suvive from enemy mm , and flower of hope for mm extra 10% lifesteal very usefull , its better than giving to hyper who depend on dmg but no lifesteal .. so with a tanky(john,franco,mino any tank with mm in gold lane)they use roam shoes , and with floryn in mid or exp without roam , still it depend on the team performance , i did this in mythic ranked game , it was fun but not always since matchmaking is too bad .. and they will think im troll just because no youtuber did this ..
yeah imagine ur tanky and u got massive heal for ur ass. Support suppose to supporting, not frontlining. If support alr tanky enough without item, they just stole mage and tank job with the right item

If you want a support that can keep poking i would get Rafaela. She is a solid support since you can help your jg/mm easily get kills (with her s2). Also that speed up + healing can also help your team to escape battles which will be of great help.
can you play rafaela? she's really underrated because everyone sees her as less than a dollar store estes when she's a speed support, not a full time healer. she can make immobile heroes like hanabi better and yet no one wants a rafaela in rank :( also what are your thoughts on building her tank and speed? shes hard to catch with a speed increase skill, speed boots, upgrade her speed in emblem, and has sprint equipped
As a Rafaela main she really needs a full rework on his skills and passive, even with building a full tank build she is way too squishy so much so that even a mage can burst her down solo, her passive is utterly useless, worse in the game, her ultimate doesn't do much as it has slow animation which can be easily dodged the only best thing about her is that her 2nd skills gives movement speed to nearby allies and she heals teammates with fair amount of hp

Estes has always been my favourite support. Its just 1st skill: heal 2nd skill: annoying slow lol 3rd skill: SCREW YOUR DAMAGE LMAO IMA HEAL EVERYTHING Its just so simple, yet effective. One of the easiest yet strongest supports in the game Also, my friend somehow ks'sed so hard with estes he got a maniac lmao

Estes is a teamfight oriented hero. If you can burst the enemy mm with an assassin quickly, then Estes' heal wont matter to the enemy mm. I agree with u. I've tried Natalia once in classic, and yes I can say that her early and mid game is an L. Her late game damage isn't even good since the enemies would have physical defensive items built. :(
I'm personally more than happy to play support or tank as long as I get "one" just "one" teammate with damage who appreciates my assistance by bursting the enemy, but instead I get teammates that are crazy and have no damage. Which is why I like to play heroes that have damage instead. I have always had higher win rate with tank when a good mm or mage got my back.... None of my skills get wasted this way

Joy is a great hero.But it definitely needs some skill and passion to use it well.If you can actually play it well it could literally be a poke and tank hero at the same time.And its espeacially good at escaping using skill 1 and 2, save skill 1 if they have conceal or heroes with extra speed skill.And I find people trying hard to focus on all perfect on joys second skill, it does give extra damage for both skill 2 and ult but thats gonna make you stuck if you are learning it.I kinda have a disadvantage playing her since I have the habit of muting my media volume but its still good to use for solo Q carry.

I would only build fleeting time, if the opponents love going for constant teamfights, but if it is just nothing then I'll prioritize durability instead
i appreciate the team composition here. i just got in mythic rank but almost all of the team i played with doesn't care about the turtle or securing lane. they just wanna clash straight away. i play mostly support and it's challenging to go around the turtle when you're alone.
Playing support is relaxing to me since i don't have to think too hard but you're gonna get one of those people who keep insisting to push alone without support or a teammate and dies.
I always use Diggie mage + aegis + encourage as roamer now and rarely pick Estes/Rafaela/Angela in solo queue. Because when i paired with careless players, i am still able to give damage to the enemies and sometimes able to create epic comeback due to Diggie passive. When 4 of your team members died and you are a healer, there's not much you can do.
Am I the only one who buys fleeting time over enchanted talisman?. With mana boots also. It works much better and ult gets available most of the time since you are probably participating in every kill in the game.

As a Rafaela main she really needs a full rework on his skills and passive, even with building a full tank build she is way too squishy so much so that even a mage can burst her down solo, her passive is utterly useless, worse in the game, her ultimate doesn't do much as it has slow animation which can be easily dodged the only best thing about her is that her 2nd skills gives movement speed to nearby allies and she heals teammates with fair amount of hp

Estes is so OP with his ult he can make his teammates hp max like a healing fountain and his second skill is good for poking/harassing low hp enemies and slowing them down so your teammates can catch them and in m4 blacklist ohmyv33nus estes is very op.

I'm personally more than happy to play support or tank as long as I get "one" just "one" teammate with damage who appreciates my assistance by bursting the enemy, but instead I get teammates that are crazy and have no damage.
Which is why I like to play heroes that have damage instead.
I have always had higher win rate with tank when a good mm or mage got my back.... None of my skills get wasted this way

Joy is a great hero.But it definitely needs some skill and passion to use it well.If you can actually play it well it could literally be a poke and tank hero at the same time.And its espeacially good at escaping using skill 1 and 2, save skill 1 if they have conceal or heroes with extra speed skill.And I find people trying hard to focus on all perfect on joys second skill, it does give extra damage for both skill 2 and ult but thats gonna make you stuck if you are learning it.I kinda have a disadvantage playing her since I have the habit of muting my media volume but its still good to use for solo Q carry.

I main Estes and I’m surprised Fleeting time isn’t in one of your default builds. The constant heal, assist, heal, assist is just too good.

I would only build fleeting time, if the opponents love going for constant teamfights, but if it is just nothing then I'll prioritize durability instead
i appreciate the team composition here. i just got in mythic rank but almost all of the team i played with doesn't care about the turtle or securing lane. they just wanna clash straight away. i play mostly support and it's challenging to go around the turtle when you're alone.

I always use Diggie mage + aegis + encourage as roamer now and rarely pick Estes/Rafaela/Angela in solo queue. Because when i paired with careless players, i am still able to give damage to the enemies and sometimes able to create epic comeback due to Diggie passive. When 4 of your team members died and you are a healer, there's not much you can do.

Am I the only one who buys fleeting time over enchanted talisman?. With mana boots also. It works much better and ult gets available most of the time since you are probably participating in every kill in the game.
