I think there are two main times it makes sense, it can happen very early when you're uncastled and your opponent is castled, and particularly when they're fianchetto'd. The second case is like this when your opponent is castled, your pieces are fully optimized, and you need something to tear open the position without misplacing your pieces

Can you make a video where you explain when a weakness like doubled pawns are actually better. I feel like many players discard a line because it leaves a weakness like doubled/isolated pawns, especially when not giving an immediate Material advantage.
Maybe similar is how to get a long term advantage instead of like winning a pawn for example: you can be up a pawn, but actually another move would be better but would give up the chance to win a pawn
