There was a planet populated by real people, with real music and real film, and a real life. Thank God we got to see it before it all ended.
The 80s not only had the best music, it had the best tv, it had the best movies, it had everything.
Ya lo creo q teníamos todo,y teníamos a nuestros ceres queridos ,q hoy ya no están 😢
So true
Best comercials too..everyone a litle movie.. I loved it, lewis, pepsi, cola…many more..
Talent coming out of our ears
The 90’s is a very close second.
The 80s is the best decade ever for movies, music, and television shows.
The 80's... The decade of joy!!!...
I get teary eyed watching videos like this. That world no longer exists. I am happy I have memories of living through it. ❤
Same ❤️❤️❤️
👍👍👍👍👍
So true , the world needs to remind us happy is best
Started crying from the first note 😢 and thinking how lucky we were to be teens in the 80’s and we couldn’t imagine how much the world would change. It was simple and we had so much freedom, our parents didn’t even know where half the time and there’s videos showing all the stupid things we did!😊
@@karenrosen2983I miss the 80's
The best decade to grow up in
I could not agree more
So true!! I often fail to realize how lucky I am.
That's the sad thing. It was for those of us lucky enough to grow up in it. I only wish my kids had the same experience. The best I can do is share my experiences with them, but it just isn't the same.
There is a reason why Boy meets Girl "Waiting for a Star 🌠 to fall." is the most popular song on most 80's tribute videos is because it truly defines the 80's, one of the greatest decades of all time in regards to Pop Culture.
This song was Whitney Houston's I think.
Agreed. My 2 favorite videos on RUclips are to this song
100% agree!
Facts 🎉100💯💯💯💯
I agree. The best song for the best tribute of this beautiful decade of all times.❤❤❤❤
So sad the 1980s are over but we will always have the great memories
I don't know why the world stopped living like this just a wholesome and magical time. Can't believe we left this for what we have today terrible, I don't think humanity will ever be like this again the 80s were the best.
Liberalism.

@@shanehewitt2019 Don't let them take your joy brother. That's what they want. Archive as many of these movie treasures as you can and watch at your leisure. Don't forget the popcorn. Keep the Lord with you always and we'll get through all this.
80s is and will be the amazing time 🎉
It's hard to watch this video without crying. I'm 55😢😢
I'm 47. WTF?
Enjoyed this year lot of funny memories. Wish I have time machine.
Recently the 80s remained me of my Best Friend..all the things we did, shopping at 💵 (malls) sleepovers, Birthday parties 🎉(at each other's houses) Swimming 🏊🌊 (movies)📼 Playing board games 😍& reading teen magazines..People don't just do these anymore..oh, the memories we had..I miss them..I miss, my BFF 💕 R.I.P my, love 😇 😭 🕳
The 80's..a time when you didnt have to watch your surroundings just to go to the grocery store etc
Tears fall down while im smiling when i hear this song
We need to return to these times and abandon all woke absolute crap. Bring this era back. This is the only way. There is no other way.
Born 72. These videos bring back some great times
So many good movies from that decade.
This is fabulous! Forgot how many great movies from the 80's exist!
Right? Great decade to grow up.
I had so much fun back in the 80s it was the greatest decade ever to be a teenager in
Always makes me smile to see J CANDY what a great person 🇦🇺
I love this, thank you so much! I may only be 16 but I'm in love with 80's movies. I've watched 31 of them, and I have like 41 more on the list, man I wish I could have grown up in that time, my mother says I'm an old soul 😂
You have watched more ‘80s movies than me.
@@4kfrank276 Oh wow
My favorite of all times is Dead Poets Society. It had such a great influence on me: Carpe Diem!
Klasse, die 80er Jahre. Die schönste Zeit in meinem Leben. Unvergessen ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
1:30 the greatest moment in cinematic history. Every moviegoer in every cinema, around the world cheered when this finally happened!
80s the best time to be a kid 👍, I watched allot of these movies as a kid.
The 80’s were absolutely amazing! I mean in what other decade could a film montage exclude movies like Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, Pretty in Pink, The Breakfast Club, St. Elmo’s Fire, Caddyshack, National Lampoons Vacation, Say Anything and Big because there just wasn’t time to highlight them.
Sounds like you should make your own tribute to your best movies of the 1980s.
MAKE AMERICA THE 80'S AGAIN
You had me worried for a moment.....it really isn't an 80s tribute video without Mr. Miyagi, but he made it in the end! 🙂 Great video!!
There are very few songs that even come close to the rythym, melody, wording and sequencing required to be used in a montage video….this is one of the few and in the top of the list within that few.
McFly punching Biff…tremendous. Also I love the focus on Star Wars!!!!! Very cool.
The 80’s are the gr80’s my m8ies‼️ 🤘😎👍
I’ve just lost my job today. . Watching this makes me realise, it’s just a job.
Yeah F*ck those people.
just noticed how our of kilter the ages of the
actors&actresses are w/their roles,in or
outta context. G,spent my 20's in the '80's
There were great films in the 80s and this list is superb!! (I am especially a fan of the original "Ghostbusters.") However, I would add "Risky Business" and "Ferris Bueler's Day Off" Great films and iconic of the decade!!
Yeah, should of included the iconic slide into the living room 😂. I could never get into Ferris Bueller's Day Off, I can see why people like the movie though.
@@4kfrank276 Thanks for the kind comment. As far as Ferris Bueller, it is actually one of my all time favorites. It is basically a satire of every kid's dream day off and I thought it was hilarious. Yet most critics seem to agree with you.
Oh well.
@@jamesgeoffrey6179 I wasn’t a teenager when it came out so that’s probably why. Teen movies like The Breakfast Club, Sixteen Candles were better, just my opinion.
@@4kfrank276 Oh sure, I was not intending a criticism. In fact, funny thing, The Breakfast Club and Sixteen Candles did nothing for me. Different strokes and all that.
As I said, I appreciated the kind comment and you are absolutely entitled to like the movies you liked and like.
Very cool Frank 👍🏻
Thanks!
1000th subscriber…and it just feel right.
Thanks! I had no idea until you pointed it out 😂.
You got it!!!!
❤❤❤❤❤
Song audio quality is a bit off, but admirable tribute to the greatest decade in movies.

Good list for you to make your own 1980s video etc etc etc...
What is the movie where the bridge collapses?
Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom.
@@4kfrank276my favorite one of the Indiana Jones series ☺️🥰
@@stormym5434very underrated and misunderstood. Easily 2nd place in the series. Raiders is still my favorite though.

Fast Times at Ridgemont High? The Natural? Bull Durham? The Untouchables? The Naked Gun?????
Good movies to make your own 1980s video...
@@4kfrank276 hahahha. Outstanding answer
Frank Dorn
Michael Cozzi

Wheres the greatest american hero ???????
Wait. No looking at phones and texting? NO Agendas and virtue signaling? No pronouns? Wait..... no aggressive finger wagging and hand gestures when in conflict or just plain conversing? No swaying the head side to side when talking? How can that be.
The other Video is MUCH better.
Nobody cares about your opinion on 1980s videos. Make your own that's better than this one, didn't think so...
@@4kfrank276 You Tell Him Frank.
Nah. The other video montage is better. Sorry!!
I didn't ask. "Opinions are like but*holes, everybody has one, but think that everyone else's stinks.."-Unknown

So the only films I haven’t seen were Chariots of Fire which I’ve seen snippets of, Amadeus and Moonstruck. What a time to have lived through.
I did see Amadeus Mozart at 2:10 😉
So blessed that I lived through all of this, how is wish we could go back. 🥹😢
