  • Replacing a blower motor from start to finish in an older "Free Return" style Air Handler.
Trying out a little different style video. Making these complete repair videos rather than just clips. If you like this style, like and comment to see more. If not, let me know too.
Sorry if Im talking a bit quiet in this on. Was trying not to disturb my customer.
    Thanks for watching.

I'm glad You are back masking videos. I never go into the smashups I'm sure that It's more trouble but you have a good content and straight forward approach and that's what makes a good video.

Brad great video . I have a 2 year old Carrier in our new build .Two months ago It wasn't cooling and we could smell something ! Turns out I lost all the 410 . 1st guy said I needed a coil n tsv . Second guy turns out ended up putting in a piston . The air is now super cool and it blows like never before . Does this mean my coil is ok . Thank you Brad ..
    John .

      Thanks!
Removing a TXV and installing a piston will drastically reduce the efficiency of your system.
As for that fixing your leak. The only way this sort of repair would fix that issues is if the TXV itself was the component that was leaking and not the actual coil. If this was the case, then yes, that could have solved your leak.

Great Job Brad!! I find the go pros can make you feel a bit wobbly sea sick 😂 But the benefit I guess is you get a legitimate live production instead of the static placed camera . Both have their merits. Personally I prefer the static placed camera. Either way the content is top shelf👍

Dear SC guy, Our furnace (circa 1981 Borg Warner/Trane natural gas, still in good condition) blows the screw in breaker (locate on outside of it) whenever the blower tries to start. [Everything else (outside AC compressor/condenser) work fine]. The start relay actuates, and AC unit runs fine with the motor electrically disconnected from the system. It's only when the motor is connected that the fuse fails at start. ¿Is this motor bad or start cap, kindly? The blower assembly turns freely inside the plenum. ANY advice or comments much appreciated. Thank you much. Thank you for your video. (Honest techs are hard to find).
