Solar has come to a point in her career where she does not have to strive to be different , because SHE IS DIFFERENT . She has always been unique , whatever she does is already a different standard . I found many newer k-pop groups and idols trying to do different things intentionally to become famous or try to identify themselves as " unique" , but when it comes to Solar or even mamamoo they just do their best . No matter whatever the trend is , I found mamamoo members always playing to their strengths and trying to challenge their capabilities in every way . This song is just the epitome of how creative each member in Mamamoo is, and I will say this again and again until I die that MAMAMOO IS UNBEATABLE !

One thing I love about Solar & Mamamoo in general is that they create art in each one of their releases. They don't just put a song out there because they know its going to do well on the charts. They create something different, beautiful and unexpected. This isn't your typical kpop video but it was a masterpiece.
Everything about this MV is chef's kiss. Solar's voice, the lyrics, the visuals...I just can't get enough of this.
I think it's the best title song of Solar's three solos. Not only is her voice finally being used correctly, but her singing has matured over the years. It can be seen in the COMEBACK LIVE that the lyrics except for the chorus are basically manipulated by her. Coupled with the MV, I can feel the deeper vitality and appeal of this song. Thank you Solar and all the production crew.

Such a powerful song, coupled with a beautifully shot music video!! I especially love the way the outro answers the intro; the withering flower fights, persists, and blooms in the end. ‘But I’ is a story of liberation-bearing witness to the casting away of a past self, unhappy with the person they’ve become whilst trying to appease an undeserving partner.
What an astounding piece! I love it with every fiber of my being. ❤
Her voice is so so special to me. The way she can make me feel the soul-crushing weight of a repressed anger and the exclamation of emotional liberation is so remarkable that it is beyond description.
The soft pre-chorus is my favorite part. There's something in Solar's soft and gentle voice singing " everybody thinks im happy ,happy" that just makes me melt inside

In terms of the story line, the most moving scene for me is when she is looking hopefully and lovingly at Sulttae the horse. Sulttae is her means to escape, and in many ways, the most tragic victim of the weight of her old self. So so cool

Personally, I like the audio setup of the KBS one most, but her out-of-this-world vocals are so clear for each. And she changes details in each one like her accentuation and her expression that make watching all of them an absolute joy

After watching the live performance this morning, I appreciate even more how Solar-nim thinks of the medium in which she performs. In the MV with close ups and cinematic framing, she acts and performs differently than when on stage in music shows. There is such a high level of awareness of what works best.
